A.N. Before you all come at me, the picture is about a detail on the end of the chapter. Don't worry, it's not and actual fight.
Izuku POV
-------------------
So, why did you become a vigilante?
I internally grin. Of course they were gonna start with that. The last time I didn't give them a single piece of unknown information. I chuckle thinking about that.
But, since they did save me, I guess I'll tell them something useful...
''Well, most people do it because of something that happened in their past. I guess you could say that for me, too.''
''What is it that happened, then? Be more clear when you speak!''
I raise my eyebrow at him. ''I can also just not tell you, you know?''
Tsukauchi sighs, and signals for me to continue. ''Go ahead.''
''Well, I was said to be quirkless, since I got my quirk only on my sixth birthday. Inko left on my fourth, since that's when I was diagnosed quirkless. That's also when the abuse started. It was my father abusing me, and he also used his quirk a lot when doing so.''
When telling Tsukauchi about the abuse, I unconsciously clench my fists to stop the shaking of my arms. The detective does notice this, and tells me to take a break and calm down. Then I continue my story.
''When I was 8, I was kicked out of the house, and I moved to Dagobah Beach, and I never left. The first year I concentrated on settling my new life, and once that was done, I took some lessons in martial arts, and got my gear ready for vigilante work.
So I first started to do vigilante work when I was 9, and I think you know the story from there as well.''
Tsukauchi writes the last bits down, and continues to interrogate me through the rest of the night.
There are the usual questions about my skills, experience, knowledge, certain people I know, and my acquaintances. (From which I didn't tell him the latter, I ain't no snitch.)
Then there are a few more specific questions such as how many people have I stalked, or, did I ever deceive the police.
But he also asks me some very strange questions, like: What's your favorite ice-cream flavor, and what kind of clothes do you like to wear, or do you have a crush..
When I ask him why he was asking such questions, his answer was: ''Your fans want to know...''
So I guess I have fans now..?
--------------------The next day------------------------
''Ugh, I can't believe that stupid detective kept me at the police station 'till 3 in the morning! I barely had any sleep! Not that I'm not used to that, but still...''
Then I sit up in bed and throw the blankets off of me. (btw I Got a temporary apartment located near the police station, since I obviously can't go back to Yuki and Sutaraito. They still have to find me a guardian.)
Once I'm all washed up and ready, I go outside and start walking towards the beach, as I still have about 3 hours left until it's time for Shinsou's interrogation.
I don't really know how to feel about that situation. I don't want to believe that Shinsou would betray me, and I really trust him. But on the other hand, how can I be so sure that he is who he says he is?
I look at my watch, and notice it's already been 2 hours. Shit, I have to get to the police station really fast!
I sprint towards the station, and thanks to my stamina, which is high despite being locked up and tortured for so long, make it there in time.
I walk inside and one of the police-officers leads me towards a interrogation room smaller than the one I was interrogated in. Probably because this is a personal favor from Tsukauchi, and not an actual case.
Shinsou is already there, and I see Tsukauchi just coming from the other side of the corridor as well.
We both enter, and Shinsou turns his head to look at us with a smirk. ''O would you look at that, the other two finally decided to show up!''
''We aren't late, Shinsou.''
He grins, and points at the clock hanging on the wall. ''What did you say?''
I look at it and groan. One minute over time... Seriously..?
''O, shut it.'' I whine. He just laughs, and motions for us to sit down.
''So, how are we gonna do this?''
That's when Tsukauchi speaks up. ''Since this is something between you two, I suggest that Izuku asks you the questions, and you answer them. Meanwhile I'll act as a translator of some sort and say for the both of you if anyone is lying. I'll mention it when someone lies, otherwise I'll just stay silent. Do you agree?''
We both nod our heads, and thus I begin with asking.
''Is it true that you have been telling the LOV about my plans and patrolling schedules?''
Shinsou looks at me confused, and answers no. Tsukauchi says nothing, and so I continue.
''Do you remember anything indicating that you were kidnapped or controlled?''
Another no.
''Do you have any missing holes in your memory? Like as if some days suddenly passed without you noticing anything?''
This time, Shinsou thinks for a while, and then slowly starts formulating an answer. ''I can't really tell. Like, if I have somethings missing in my memory, I wouldn't know that, right? But I do remember that there were a few times that I fell asleep for a very long time, and woke up about half a day later. But I always assumed that it had something to do with my insomnia and messed up sleeping schedule...''
We go over this possibility for while, when Tsukauchi asks: ''Izuku, seeing as your quirk makes you capable of having any quirk you know of, can't you just use a mind reading quirk to find out?''
I shake my head. ''That's not how my quirk works, you know. The quirk I want has to be suitable for me to even try using it, and if not I would just end up with all the drawbacks of said quirk. I already found out that I'm not particularly suitable for mind reading and lie-detecting quirks, which is why I asked for your help int he first place.''
Tsukauchi nods, when Shinsou asks me a question. ''But then how do you know which quirks your suitable for?''
I look at him with a look that screams: Hell, that's how!!!
''By trying out all the quirks I knew as soon as I found out this condition...'' I chuckle. ''Believe me, some of those drawbacks are soo weird! I once had to walk around town with pink teeth and nails after trying some sort of bubblegum-pop quirk!''
We laugh for a little while, and then get back to business.
Tsukauchi tells us he knows someone that has a quirk called: Memory casting, which allows the user to project the memories of one person. He calls her, and says that she'll be here in half an hour. In the meantime me and Shinsou go outside to spar a little.
I wonder if he's improved since last time...

Hey guys! I'm really sorry about not updating for so long, so uhmm.... Yeah....
Well anyways, I said that the 'Shinsou - Izuku' arc in this chapter would happen, and I get it if some of you are confused, but the arc has already started. It just takes some time to get to it's peak. (by the way, I just use arc because it's the only way I can think of for describing this particular part of the story. I'm pretty sure it sounds stupid though...)
Well anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter!
