episode 5: leopards and lovers

Kion still wondered what Chuluun wanted help with. As she followed her to the hole in the tree of life he could hear Rani growling at the mear presence of Chuluun." Kion" she gcould get something out of it." He explained." Fine but, if it's not important we kill her." Rani replied. Kion nodded. He could  hear Chuluun sighing from the outside of the cave.

"Alright, im assuming you want an explanation." They nodded." So you know Makuchu ? Well when the king threw us for hundreds and hundreds of miles when we landed Makuchu broke his back legs. I got 'lucky' in that I broke one of ribs. I was going to leave him, but he asked me to help. At least until he healed And I agreed. It Took him 11 months to recover." she paused and looked into nothing thinking deep about She was about to say." When you stay with someone for that long you tend to develop" she paused again. Kion knew what she was going on as he had experienced himself with Rani.

" Ok, well what can we do to help you ?" Rani erupted." Chuluun looked up from were she was staring and snapped out of her thinking." No, kingdom in this region want to take us. So I came to you two and before you ask no, I don't want to live here. I'll take anywhere you can let us live." Kion looked at Rani. She smiled and nodded." Fine we'll help you find a home." He said reluctantly. Chuluun let out a small smile." Thank you" she gagged." I'll see if I get my sister to let you live in the pridelands."

Chuluun was ok with living in the pridelands, although she knew it would be hard to live in the burning Savannah but it was the only choice she had. She looked at Kion. He Had very faint scars on his legs and chest. It didn't look like it bothered him, but it was still consering.

3 days later
"Well we're here" she said. Makucha looked surprised." How did you-"." I have my ways". They made there way into the pridelands. The first thing they see is a large rocks with pools of water and more worrying blood." You must be Chuluun and Makucha. My brother told me about you." Kiara said. Makucha looked at Chuluun. He was willing go along with it, but she knew that were have to talk about it. She nodded ." Alright, well I'll show you around there's alot to see.

5 hours later
Kiara had left  back to priderock. Chuluun wanted to get some sleep. The sun had been burned her badly the entire day. As she collapsed onto the ground to rest she felt Makucha breathing on her." What do you want ?"
He growled." You know exactly what I want ." She grgrowled back." Listen and get this into your head. WE LOST. The tree of life is secularly under there rule. We have no idea where Mama binturong or any of the other are. For all we know they could be dead. There's no point in getting revenge all it'll do is get us killed."." I give up. After my tree broke. I knew that that I had to find another place to live. And here we are, in the pridelands. You might not want to give, but I do."

She stopped to breathe. Makucha thought for a bit.
He's not one to give up,but he deep down he knew she was right. He watched as she slowly fell asleep.He felt a pain on his chest. He layed down next to her. Let out on last sigh before falling asleep himself.
