"Hey, Peter, I'm here, in the lobby & it's 4:15, are you coming down here to get me", Ned asked over the phone. He looked around the lobby, looking for Peter, but couldn't see him anywhere. "I assume that you forgot, that's why I called, just come down here when you see this please".

Ned walked over to the secretary & tried talking to her, to persuade her to just let him go up.

"Tony Stark, phone him, he knows me & will let me up", Ned said as he started to argue with the secretary.

"Too late, Karen called me a few minutes ago, she told me that some crazy man was trying to get upstairs", Tony said, as he walked through the chaotic lobby of the Avengers Tower.

Ned squinted his eyes at the secretary with his lips straight, giving her a look of fury. But the secretary shrugged her shoulder & turned back to her work.

"Ned, what are you doing here? I didn't know you were coming", Tony said.

"Peter invited me over to study last week", Ned explained to Tony. "Did he not tell you about it? I'm sorry if today is a bad day, I'll just come back tomorrow . . .".

"Ned, it's okay, he must have forgotten to tell me", Tony said as he started to walk with Ned to the elevator. "I'll show you up".

Tony swiped his ID over the scanner that allowed access over to take him to the Penthouse. The fiftieth floor through the sixty-fifth floor was a security access point that only certain scientists & certain people had access. Then the sixty-sixth floor to the eightieth floor were floors only accessible through the Avengers, Peter, & Government officials. The eighty-first floor to the ninety-second floor was where the Avengers lived, so only the Avengers & Peter had access.

The ninety-third floor is the penthouse, that's where Peter's & his dad's rooms were. All of the Avengers had access to that floor as well. But nobody else did.

"You know, if you gave me my own ID card, you won't have to send down an Avenger to bring me up, though I'm not complaining though", Ned said, he was kind of nervous, he hasn't talked to Tony one-on-one for this long. Usually, they say hello to one another & Tony may ask about his day, but never this long.

"I'll think about it", Tony said. Ned looked up & saw what floor they were on, thirty. "But I really can't afford for you to accidentally lose the ID card & then a total stranger would have access to the highest levels of Avengers Tower".

"I totally get it, you don't have to", Ned said, the elevator doors opened & he instantly walked out of the elevator.

"Tell Peter that dinner will be ready at Seven, you're welcome to stay if you would like", Tony offered as he sat down on the couch.

Ned walked down the hall & out of Tony's view, he then walked over to Peter's door & tried to open, but it was locked. Ned knocked on the door & waited a minute, nobody opened it.

Ned rolled his eyes & pulled his school ID out from his wallet. He then proceeded to wedge his card in between the door & the wall, pushing his card past the latch & popping the door open.

Ned looked into the bedroom, but nobody was in there.

"Peter", Ned asked as he walked into the room & started to look for Peter. Peter's bathroom door was open & so was his closet. Ned shut & locked the door behind him. "That's weird".

Ned started to unload the books from his backpack & set them on the bed. He was just going to start studying without him.
