Peter drifted through the motions for the next couple of days, Peter would avoid interaction with his father at all costs, not that Peter was holding a grudge, but whenever they tried to be around each other awkwardness overwhelmed everyone around them until everybody was uncomfortable.

Once Tony & Peter sat in the living room together watching a movie with most of the Avengers family, but other than the audio from the television the silence was deafening & the tension could've been cut with a knife.

Despite avoiding each other, Peter found it hard to get away. Around every corner he looked around, his father was always standing there, as if he was watching Peter. Which made it impossible for Peter to get out of the house, even for Spider-man duties.

Peter was locked in the house, it seemed like school was his only escape.

Steve had a talk with Peter, it was obviously an argument his other father didn't want to fight. Tony had Steve talk with Peter, Steve made it clear that Peter had to come home right after school, unless he was going to Ned's, Peter couldn't even go to Michelle's unless her mother was home. That way there would always be an adult watching Peter.

But even then Peter would try to find a way to escape the watchful eye of the adults his fathers had looking out for him. So Peter was unable to patrol as Spider-man, he was always being watched, & once 'Steve' had Peter send a photo of himself with a clock in the background & a spoon on his head.

---

"It was like a ransom photo", Peter explained to Michelle. Michelle was sitting beside Peter, & Ned & Betty were sitting across from them at the Lab table in Chemistry class.

"We left my house for twenty minutes to eat at a restaurant", Ned added on, laying another level of crazy onto the story. "We had to get another spoon".

"They really think you're doing drugs", Michelle asked? Her hand was clasped in Peter, resting on Peter's leg.

"Tony does, but Steve knows the truth", Peter said.

"Then what is the truth", Betty asked?

"Uh", Peter spat out.

"Just that Peter & I have been hanging out a lot, & Peter doesn't want his dads to know that . . .", Michelle was cut off.

"That we are . . .", Peter stuttered.

"Sexually active", Michelle blurted out a lie. Peter started to choke on the saliva in his mouth & Ned had to hold back his laughter.

"Woah, TMI guys", Betty said as she returned to her homework.

Ned had the biggest smile on his face that he was trying to suppress. Peter was trying to recover from choking on his own saliva, releasing loud coughing & gasps for air.

"Can we change the topic, please", Peter choked out.

"Uh", Ned started. "Did you guys hear about Cindy's party tonight, she invited all of us, who is going with me"?

Ned raised his hand awkwardly.

"I don't like parties, but maybe if Peter goes", Michelle said as she looked at Peter with pleading eyes, staring into his eyes in desperation. Peter couldn't decipher if Michelle wanted him to go or not.

"As much as I would love to hang out with all of you...", Peter said, squeezing Michelle's hand a little tighter. "... but my dad would never let me go to a party, sorry, guys".

"I'll go with you, babe", Betty said.

Peter & Michelle looked at each other confused.

"Babe", Michelle asked shockingly?
