MEW EZEKIEL

I ROLLED down the car window and we are welcomed by an amused smile of his mother. I greeted her good evening and wai.

"I was looking at the both of you for straight 3 minutes and wait to get out of the car, but I became impatient so I knocked already."

"I'm sorry Mama, we were just so happy. I have good news to tell you. Look!"

My fiancee excitedly shows his mother his left hand were the ring is showing. I look at her reaction and I saw a happy mother. She was teary-eyed too.

"I'm so happy for you my son. But if you have plans other than saying goodbye, I suggest you do it, INSIDE the house."

We both scratch our heads and smile.

"Yes Mama, we will go inside. I'll just park my car."

She nodded her head and went inside. We looked at each other and then laugh. But something pop inside his mind and worry was shown in his face.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

He started sobbing. "M-mew, what about Mama? Are we going to left her here? I, i-i cannot do that--"

I kissed him to stop his blabbering. When he stops, I slowly smiled at him and said "Who's going to leave who? Of course I have think of that in advance. And Mama said, she will go, wherever you are. So calm your nerves baby, we are not leaving without mama."

He dived right into me for tight hug.

"I love you so much Mew. Thank you for loving me. And my family."

"And I love you too baby. From now till eternity. Now, let's get inside before Mama knocks again on my car window."

He laughed and we walked hand in hand inside their house.

PHEW!

What a day. But thankfully, it was a success presentation. They love the design and everything. It was almost 5PM and just a few minutes more I'm out of work.

I grabbed the letter and proceeds to my boss' office to hand her the letter. I knocked three times before I heard her answer telling me to come in.

"Hey Ms. Ana, are you busy?"

She smiled. "No, it's fine. Congratulations by the way. As expected from you, always the perfect designs."

"Thank you. Anyways, I'm here to hand you this."

"Oh, congratulations again! You're getting married."

"Thanks. That's the invitation. Here is another letter. I am actually, had a hard time to come up with this decision but, I'm resigning."

She looks at me sadly. "I am actually expecting this. I know you will leave the company because your fiance is living abroad. It's a sad news but, in the seven years you're working with me, this is the time that I saw you smile genuinely."

She sighed. "As hard for me to accept this, but I am happy for you. Good luck on your next endeavours."

I became teary-eyed. "Thank you. I won't forget everything you've done for me."

She hugged me. "I will still come to your wedding. I wanna see how you will design it."

That's right. I am the one designing the venue. But actually it was a simple one. It just been 2 months since Mew and I got back together and decides to get married.

Mew's been out of the country for three days now. And I've been missing him so bad.

I bid her goodbye then proceeds on clearing my table. When I'm done, I handed out the invitations to my officemates. They are thrilled about the idea of me getting married suddenly, but they are asking never ending questions. I just laughed at them and get out of the office.

After driving for a few minutes, I arrive home. When I opened the door, I was so surprised to see my soon to be husband, sitting comfortably on the couch.

"MEW!" I called.

"Hey my baby? Did you miss me?"

I run and jump on the man I missed for how many days. "You don't know how much!"

I shower him wet kisses on his face.

"Woah woah! Take it easy. I now you miss me that much but we have to eat. Come on."

And I was surprised to see the table was set with a full course dinner. I look at him while he pull a chair for me to sit. After he sit down he motioned me to open the food in my front and was surprised to see a steak. It is still warm. Like he just finished cooking it a few minutes ago.

I smile at him and we started our dinner.

IT WAS superb and amazingly good. I knew I'm in the right partner when he knows how to cook.

The wine that we drink during the meal was giving me a little tipsy feeling. Do, in return to the surprise dinner. I am planning on giving him a service tonight.

I ask him to shower with me. He agreed and said he will follow. I strip my clothes and jump into the tub, where I put flowers and light the scented candles.

I was already soaking my self in the tub when I saw Mew, in all his glory looking at me.

I crooked my finger to him signalling to come closer.

"You planning on something, didn't you?" .

"You betcha baby."
