EPILOGUE

JUSTIN GULF

It's been a while since I'm here, and nothing has changed. 

The house, the garden is still the same. The beach front is still enticing. 

I opened the gate of the house and walked to the front door. I was about to knock when the door open and reveal the most handsome man that I will love in this life and in my next life.

"Baby,.. you're back. You're back!" He hugged me so tight like he is so scared that I will disappear any moment soon.

"I'm here love, thank you. Not just for loving me but also for not giving up on finding me. I love you so much." I dropped my bag and return his hug while I am crying.

After a few minutes of hugging each other, he ushered me inside the house and cried harder when I noticed that everything is the same inside. 

"Love, nothing has changed for the past year. It's still the same the way o remember it."

"I didn't want to remove your memories in here. You're the queen of this house, this will never be a house without you. Let's go, Ae is waiting in his room.

We went upstairs and when Ae saw me, tears starts flowing down my cheeks again. "Ansel my baby! I miss you so much my love!"

"Mommy papa, Back. Ansel wait papa."

"Thank you for waiting my baby. Look at you. You grow up so fast. Did you miss Mommy papa?"

This is what I miss. The warm feeling of home. But it will not be complete without,

"Love? Where is my mama? Why is she not here?"

The moment Mew open his mouth, all I want to happen is for me to faint.

"She's gone."

And everything turns black.

MEW EZEKIEL

Thanks to my reflexes, I was able to catch him before he hurt himself to the ground. I know I should have been more soft when I told him but it won't change the fact that his mom died that night.

U brought him to the room and let him rest. I know that he still tired from everything. After an hour or so, he wakes up and look at me straight in the eye.

"Let's go visit mama."

We drove straight to where is his mother buried. After we arrive, he picks up the basket of his mom's favourite flower. And I led him to where is she.

The moment he read the name, he cried again and I let him. It was his way of letting his feelings out.

"Mama, I'm sorry. I was not able to save you from those people. Thank you for saving me and Are that night. Rest well and I will see you again in heaven mama. I love you so much."

After weeping for 30 minutes or so, he stands up. I thought we are getting home, but what shocked me is where he requested to go.

"I want to see Ae's biological father. Bring me to him."

I drive to jail where he is and ask for a few minutes of visiting time. When we are inside, I feel my husband is so calm. I can't differentiate if he is just calm or he has no reaction at all.

When that guy arrive, my husband was just looking Bat him straight in to the eyes. And after a few minutes, in a soft voice he said.

" I want to get mad at you. For taking my mom, and my life away from me. I suffer a lot because of you. Until now, I don't know what you really want. And when my husband told me who are you I want Claire to wake up and tell me that I made a good decision for not giving Ae up to you."

"He will have no better future with you if he grows up under your care."

"But I decided to just forgive you. I have my second chance in life now, and I want to be positive in all aspect of how I live from today. I am saying that I forgive you but that does not mean that I forgot what you did."

He stands up so I follow him "Please try to be better inside the prison. And if Ae wants to see you when he is old enough, prove to us that you have changed. Maybe, just maybe. Ansel will forgive you for what you did to us, and to her mom."

He turns around and walk out of the prison. When we are inside the car, I saw that he is smiling and crying at the same time.

"What's wrong baby?"

"Nothing love. I am just happy that I am still alive. And I am back to your arms. I don't want any negativity anymore. I want to start a fresh new life. With you and Ansel. I love you so much my love. Thank you for your existence."

I smiled and kiss him. "Don't worry baby. I have no intention of bailing out on you in this life or for the next life that we will have."

He rains kisses on me. "Now let's go. I can't wait to be with my baby Ae. I miss him so much that I will sleep with him tonight."

Wait. What? "What? Why? Baby! I've been celibate for more than a year now! Come on!"

He laughed. "Stop whining like a baby. Be a good husband. I might change my mind. We'll see. Now drive and let's go home. "

I pout and started driving.

And I didn't expect what he did in the first stop that we take.

He whispered "I love you so much my Mew."

And I answered. "I love you so much Gulf. You, always and forever. "
