CHAPTER 6

JUSTIN GULF

I was awakened by the sound of my alarm clock. It was 5:30 in the morning. I slept late because I packed a bag for my three days vacation with Mew. Though my mom didn't know my plan yet, I will stand with my decision and go with Mew.

Luckily, mom was awake when I went downstairs. She was preparing breakfast when I hugged her.

"Good morning son. What time did you arrive last night?"

" Around 11PM."

"Who drive you home? I remember hearing a car last night but I was too sleepy to go and check."

I paled. Sorry Mama. "Oh just a highschool friend that visit Bai yesterday. Went out before he offered to out drive me home. My car is still at Bai's. I left it there."

She hand me a cup of coffee. "What are you going to use to work then?"

I sipped my coffee before answering her. "Actually Mama, I'm off to Davao today. Remember my friend Melissa? She will be having a bridal shower for three days. So I will be going there today. Will you allow me?"

"Why asked if you decide already?"

I pout."Of course. I still want your approval on my travel."

She pinch my cheeks before saying "Okay. Granted. Just make sure to be safe when travelling. Do you have money?" What time is your flight?"

"My flight is at 10. So I really have to go and get ready. Don't worry about money. I still have some."

"Okay. Go. Be ready. I'll clean the table after I cook."

I texted Mew before I take a shower.

To: Mew

I'll meet you around 6:30am. I'm up already.
Good morning 😉

A few seconds past when I received his reply

From: Mew

Okay. I'm already here in the convenience store. I'll wait. See you baby.

After showering. I opted to wear a blue turtle neck, paired with a jeans and a white Sketchers shoes. I grabbed my travelling bag and my phone on the bedside table. I saw my mama watering her plants so I bid her goodbye and wait for a taxi until the convenience store.

When I arrive, I saw him in his back Tesla, waiting for me. He opened the door and grabbed my bag. Then, he hurriedly get inside the car and drove to the airport.

"Did you have breakfast?" Mew ask.

"I did. You know Mama, I cannot leave the house without eating."

The whole ride to the airport and the travel time to Bohol,we are both quite. Like no one dared to open a topic. We rented a car that we will use for 3 Days.

After an hour of driving, we arrived at the said beach house. The water is so clear. And the view is so refreshing. It's good that I agree to go with him. Its an environment where you can relieve the stress of being in the city.

We are welcomed by an old caretaker named Sicario. He was so glad that Mew is already here to check the house. According to him he's been taking good care of the house but due to old age, it start to show some sign that it needs renovation.

While Mew was talking with him,. Enter the house and tour myself, it was old, but can still be used. I ended the kitchen area and the thought of cooking make my stomach grumble. I also suddenly felt a little dizzy. Maybe jetlag. I get back to the living room and saw Mew in there.
