(3) New Clothes

I woke up to feel myself being shocked awake. I looked up to see Gerard. "Hey mikes, its ok its just me. Nobodys seen you since we got here yesterday I just came to check on you and see if you wanted to go shopping."

Yesterday? Was I really that tired? I guess I didn't notice... I sat up, looking at him. He smiled, then turned. "Get dressed and come eat please, you can go shower if you want as well. Its the first door on your right"

He turned and left the room. I got up out of the bed and cracked my back. I grabbed some clothes and walked to the bathroom. Just as I was about to open the door, it opened to show Ray, in just a towel around his waist. Another one holding his fro up. "Oh Mikey. Sorry, I didn't realise you were up, I'm sorry"

I blushed looking down. He smiled, then walked down the hall to his room. I quickly walked in, locking the bathroom door behind me. I pulled my beanie and shirt off. I looked down at the burn scars on my upper chest and neck. You can't see them when I have my shirt on. But I can definitely tell now. I looked down at my body.. i look so bad. Ray looks so amazing though from he glimpse i got of him.. I'm glad Gerard doesn't look like this, like me. He looks amazing. I'm so glad he made it out alright, even though none of us did..

I turned on the shower and got in, just letting myself finally relax for the first time in a while. I took a breath thinking everything through. I'm so glad someone's finally wanted us for us. Not just one, but both of us.

I got out and pulled on my new clothes. I took my old ones back to my room and threw them in the hamper. I pulled on my sneakers and pulled my beanie down more. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I could hear people talking and followed it to the kitchen. The other four were sitting at the table eating cereal. I sat down beside Ray and he handed me a bowl. Mrs. Toro smiled at me, "get what ever kind you'd like Mikey, then we'll go shopping"

I grabbed the fruit loops, pouring myself a bowl. I began to eat them, watching the other four talk to each other. Ray smiled over at me. I looked down at my cereal bowl blushing. I quickly finished eating and looked at all of them. Gerard smiled at me, pushing some of his hair back. "So you ready to start school Mikey? Were in a new district so now we're gonna get to meet new people!"

Ray smiled at me, "your gonna love my best friend Frank, Gerard. Hes crazy and hallarious"

Mrs. Toro looked up, "he truly is your best friend Ray. You'll probably both like him, hes a really nice kid though. Maybe he could come over today or tomorrow. See if he wants to come over"

Oh, so rays gotta a buddy... what an i talking about.. do I like ray.. I mean hes cute.. damn Mikey, your gonna ruin the one good thing you've got going for you and gee.

I looked up to see Ray snapping infront of my face. "You ok mikes? We've been talking to you for five minutes. You just spaced out on us. Are you good?"

I shook my head yes. Everybody was standing up, waiting on me. "Are you sure your alright? We don't have to go"

I pointed at rays phone. "Do you wanna talk?"

I shook my head yes at him. He smiled, handing it to me. I opened his notes and started to type.

Sorry I just dazed off.. I didn't mean to. I'm alright though. Let's go if your all ready

"Alright Mikey, I just wanted to make sure. Maybe we should get you a phone or a note pad, so we can talk to each other ok?"

I shook my head yes at him. He smiled, grabbing my hand, "lets go"

We pulled into the mall and the Toro's looked back at us three. "Ray you can take them and let them buy whatever they want. But 500 each, then we'll meet back here for a late lunch and get them phones alright?"
