apollo was just minding his business writing in his journal when trucy started tugging at his sleeve

'Hey, Apollo! Look, on TV! Look! Look!'

Apollo sighed

'Yeah... uh, I'm kinda busy'

she pouted her cheeks, staring back at the tv screen in awe

'Whoa! Look at that! He's the last Gramarye, alright! Amazing!'

Apollo kept his eyes on his jounral, until trucy started pinching at his arm

'Apollo, you should be watching this!'

Apollo whined in pain as he pulled back his closed out his book

'What? What!? ...I was writing about our last case in my journal'

'Lawyers are supposed to write things in "notebooks", Apollo, not journals. And why now? That case was three months ago'

Apollo fronwed

'Hey, it's a long story. ...I did a lot, you know. I want to vacuum pack the feel of the moment for later. Right now I'm wowing the crowd by figuring out how Lamiroir disappeared'

'That's right! Uncle Valant did that illusion, too! But you're missing him on TV right now!'

trucy said as he turned apollo's chair to face towards the tv, apollo rolled his eyes but put aside his journal

'... I was just getting to the good part'

"I suppose I should watch a little TV with her..."

though he would never admit it out loud, he came to think of trucy like his little sister that he needed to protect and watch-over, plus apollo didn't really have friends, he was mostly a longer throughout his years in school due to his anxiety, he always felt nervous around people

'What you're now seeing is a rehearsal for the greatest magic show on Earth... ...happening right here at our very own Sunshine Coliseum!'

the announcer said on the news, with a big fake grin that says "i'm being paid to act and talk like this" voice

'The Sunshine Coliseum? Hey, that's where the Gavinners concert was!'

apollo mumbled, then felt a little flutter in his stomach at the memory, ..another thing that had happened after that case was his view on klavier, don't get him wrong, he was still smugly annoying, but he was also honest, hard-working, and willing to put aside his personal feelings in order to find the truth, which was something apollo deeply admired

'...Only three more days until miracles happen here, right before your unbelieving eyes! The legendary Troupe Gramarye is performing for the first time in seven years!'

Trucy jumped in her seat

'That's going to be great! I'm so there! You and Daddy are coming, too!'

"The legendary Gramaryes... ...If Trucy's real father were still alive... ...he'd be on that stage performing miracles"

'I've got the tickets and everything! Here's yours, Apollo'

she said as she threw the ticket at his hands, he stumbled a bit before he caught it, both of their heads turned to the door when they heard a squeak, at first they both thought it was a client requesting their services, but as soon as the black boots took a step inside, they both knew who it was at least, trucy beamed as she ran right up to him

'Daddy!!'

she yelled out in excitement as she wrapped her arms around him tightly, phoenix staggers back a bit but patted her head affectionally
