when the two got into the hospital room, the found mr wright wearing big headphones, while writing something down in a very pretty notebook, when he looked up to see the two, phoenix closed up his book, paused his music and took of his headset, kicking his feet of the edge of the bed as the two sat down at the guest chairs next to him

'hey, back already huh?'

he greeted, he sounded better then before, but still looked really drained, trucy waved as she asked in a slightly worried tone

'hi daddy, how do you feel?'

he patted her head reassuringly, smiling a little at her, apollo still couldn't believe it, mr wright smiling, it wasn't like it was creepy or even an ugly smile, it was just hard to picture a stone-cold, strict, ruthless and brutal man like him to smile

'don't worry trucy, i'm fine, you don't have to worry about me alright?'

"i guess he really doesn't want his daughter to worry about him..."

apollo stuttered a bit on his words, not wanting to be un-poliet

'honeslty i'm surprised, I didn't expect you back this early'

he admitted, trucy beamed as she praised apollo for his hard work

apollo said, phoenix blinked at her, then sighed as he patted her daughters head, ..honestly phoenix hated that magic trick, but it made his daughter happy, and it wasn't like it was hurting anyone, plus she was older now and she could make her own discussions

'..anyways, Did you find the idiot driver who gave the victim 30-foot toss?'

he asked

'Apparently... it was a doctor. From the Meraktis Clinic.'

'I've heard of him. Nothing good'

he added

'That reminds me, a police car was parked outside the clinic.'

'something serious happened?'

phoenix asked

'not sure, What is this Meraktis Clinic anyway?'

he asked, phoenix gave his best honest answer

'All I've heard are the rumours. That clinic's been making good money in a scummy way'

'scummy?'

apollo asked, quickly taking out his notepad to make jot notes of this, he noticed how his glare got darker, ..like he was remembering unpleasant memories

apollo corrected, though it had a feeling he already knew that and was just saying the worng name to offend them, phoenix rolled his eyes, ..that made it clear he didn't care enough to get it right

'whatever!, it doesn't fucking matter, anyways, Some injuries you can't take to a public hospital, They use the Meraktis Clinic for their patch-up jobs, ..fucking scumbags..

he growled to himself a bit, apollo sweated a bit as he mumbled

apollo decided to change the subject

'It looked like something had happened in that park'

'A body was found there in unusual circumstances...'

phoenix mumbled, apollo looked at him questioningly

'Something more unusual than being dead?'

phoenix glared off to the side once before meeting apollo's gaze, ..

'while it is troubling...It's not our concern, for now..be wary when going their alright?'

apollo and trucy nodded, but then he asked

'Um... I was wondering when I get paid? We solved the case of your accident, and um, found a missing article of clothing'

'My panties!'

phoenix sighed at trucy's draws as he reminded apollo 

'then that leaves the noodle stand, also, you'll be getting paid triple when the case is over'

apollo nearly fell over at that 

'r-really?!'

'well you are doing additional cases, that and i owe you for your services, and your my co-worker in general, so yes, you'll be getting paid triple'

"never expected him to be so generous..."

just then the doctor came in

'oh, i'm very sorry, but mr wright is needed for a checkup'

apollo nodded as he was the first to walk out, trucy gave phoenix a hug before heading back to the office to discuss their next plan
