"The Very Unexpected Client"

you couldn't believe apollo's shock when they came back to the office, he was expecting to go back to the office with trucy to plan on what to do next since they found out the car, and trucy's magic prop, you could imagine he wasn't expecting a woman from the kitaki place to be standing at the office, apollo had to take a minute to collect himself before he spoke

'You... You're the woman from the Kitaki place!'

she nodded, looking rather nervous herself

'Y-Yes...'

trucy beamed, she knew it, she knew that woman needed their help!

'I knew it! Something's the matter and you want our help, right? Well, you've come to the Wright place! This way, please...'

trucy said as she kindly lead her to the couch, and then poured her a cup of floral tea in the black tea cup, the woman nodded a little at her as she took it, waiting for it to cool down as she introduced herself to apollo

'Um... Thank you. My name is Alita Tiala. I... have a request'

apollo was still in a moment of daze, ..a kitaki, wanted a request from him!?, ..he betted it was something about theft and asked

'Your request... let me guess, something's been stolen?'

alita took out the business card and asked

'Um, your business card... It says "Defense Attorney", ..so I thought...'

apollo nearly fell over on the ground, she wanted his help defending in court?!, him?!, not mr wright?!

'Whaaaat!? You mean, you mean you want me to defend you? Me?'

turcy, excited as ever, asked the questions

'Maybe you can tell us what happened? Were you hit by a car? Did someone steal your stand? Or your panties?'

she shook her head a little as she sipped the tea

'No! No... I'm not the client, actually. The client would be my... well, my fiancé, I suppose you'd call him'

'Fiancé...? What happened to him, then?'

he asked, quickly taking out his notepad

'He was arrested this morning. The charge... was murder'

trucy's eyes widen in surprise

'Murder...'

'Have you heard about what happened at the park?'

she asked, apollo thought it was about the car accident at first, but then he remembered something, ..she was part of the family's orgainiztion

'So, what's your story? You frequent the Kitaki Mansion, yes? Are you a member of their, um, organization?'

she shook her head

'No... Not yet'

'Not yet?'

she asked

'You see, I'm to be married next month. To the boss's son.'

'The boss's son...? So he's a, uh...'

he swallowed nervously

"A gangster..."

altia nodded, knowing what he was going to say

'Yes, but the Kitakis are locally responsible gangsters. I thought it'd be nice for a change... Quit my boring job, live the good, gangster life'

she awed, as if a gangster life wasn't a seriously illegal and dangerous job, trucy, whodidn't understand to well, nodded in agreement with her

'I think you're on to something! "Ms. Kitaki"... I like the sound of that!'

"I'm not sure your daddy would care much for that..."

he cleared his throat as he asked in a slightly nervous tone

'Wh-What happened!?'

'I haven't been told all the details. But I do know a body was found in the park. Near the Kitaki Mansion'

'There were a lot of police cars there'

trucy pointed out, apollo took a little note of that as he listened to alita 

'Apparently, the victim was shot with a pistol... But I hear the circumstances of the shooting were... rather unusual'

'And your fiancé was arrested for this?'

trucy "hmm" to herself as she asked

'Um... what sort of person is your fiancé?'

'Your fiancé is the Kitaki Family's only son, correct?'

apollo asked, chiming in

'His name's Wocky. Wocky Kitaki... I brought a photo'

she took the picture out of her pocket and lent it to him, honestly, apollo didn't know what to be expecting, but he sure as hell was not expecting a gangster to look like this

'Well. That's... quite the photo'

he added awkwardly, alita beamed at the photo

'I know! Oh, he can be powerful and menacing, but so cute!'

apollo just sorta ignored that comment as he asked her

'But, if he's the boss's only son...'

'Yes, I'm sure he'll take his father's place some day'

trucy smiled as she added

'Say, I'm a boss already! Of this office'

"...isn't she not allowed to make any major discussions in the office without her fathers permission?!"

alita voice cut him off from his thoughts

'Please help my Wocky! Please!'

she begged, honestly apollo didn't have it in him to deny her services, ..if she believed that he would never murder someone, then apollo would believe in his innocence too

"...Right! My first solo defense case! Crime boss's son or not, I'll prove he's innocent!"

she then handed him something, en evalope

'I... prepared a letter of request. I know you need those'

apollo nodded a thanks at her as he put it into his backpack, suddenly, Trucy grabbed his hand and 

'Right! Let's go check out the scene of the crime!'

and with that, they hurried off to the crime scene to investigate, apollo was honestly a little excited, this was his first ever murder investigation, and someone had requested him for his services

"So this is it... My first murder crime scene!"

the officer who was guarding the front gates of the park, sighed when he saw the two again, mistaking them for kids

'Ah, it's you kids again. Look, can't you find some other place to play...'

trucy humped and she pouted her cheeks angrily, apollo felt the same, sure they were short, but they weren't kids!!, could he not see the attorney badge?!

'We're not playing! We're um, "investigating"! Aren't we, Apollo?'

he nodded, then gave the letter of request to him to read

'Sir, I have a letter of request here'

the officer "hmphed" to them as he snatched the letter out of his hands, and gave him a questioning look

'Letter of... huh? Why does it say "Hit Request" on it?'

"Ms. Tiala must have used the Kitaki's stationery..."

just before they could say anything else, ..a new voice called out to them in the distance

'Excuse me, coming through'
