"Apollo's First Ever Cross-Examination"

'I am a pianist their, but that's something i don't always do, My real "job" is to take on interested customers over at the poker table, The room where we play and the competition in there are the club's main attractions, The rules are simple: we play a game of poker using two decks of cards, That's all it is... a game. And the customers are happy'

apollo wrote it as fast as he could, ..he might have missed some details but, ..he would fill them in later, ..damn.., how did mr.wright used to write all of this in such a short amount of time?!, the judge looked down at him and asked

'hmm..., a pianist?, never knew you could play'

phoenix shrugged a bit

'when i was seven, i taught myself how to play, i can now professionally play, that's all'

apollo won't lie, ..that was pretty impressive, ..but phoenix was saying it like it was no big deal at all, the judge perked up a bit as he complimented him on his skills

'self taught you say?!, that's quite impressive!, especially at the age of seven'

phoenix grumbled as he blushed a tint red, crossing his arms, closing his eyes as he looked off to the side, downwards, ..apollo couldn't believe what he was seeing, ..was the phoenix wright, the most terrifying defense attorney on the whole distract ...blushing over a compliment?!, ..no way!!, payne humped 

'Better than a defense attorney who can't defend.'

phoenix glared at him to shut his mouth, which he quickly did as he looked down at his bench

"oh boy...our client is already scaring everyone.." 

'Very well. The defense may begin the cross-examination.'

'R-Right, Your Honor!'

he said as he sweated bullets a little bit, kristoph took notice of his nervous state

'Are you alright? You're sweating bullets'

apollo panicked as he looked around

'Bullets...!? Where!?'

kristoph chuckled a bit, making apollo blush a little red out of embarrassment

'it's a figure of speech, Justice. Your voice sounds strained and raspy, too'

'My brain feels strained and raspy, sir.'

he mumbled, kristoph then reassured him

'You've watched me perform cross-examinations many times. Though you've never done one yourself, have you? Care for a refresher?'

he offered, apollo thought deeply for this, ..we wanted to prove to himself and to his mentor he knew what to do, he remembered what phoenix had told him eariler in the lobby, ...he took a breath in and out..., that helped out a little as he asserted

'No need for help here, sir! I think I've got this one covered!'

krisophe however, gave him a brief refresher anyway

'I think you'd better do more than think. You know it, or you do not, Find any inconsistencies, any lies in the testimony, and reveal them to the court. That is cross-examination. Learn it. Know it. Do it.'

he said simply, apollo highly doubted phoenix was lying, ..he was a very honest, blunt man, why would he ever lie?!, ..after all, he's the one to exposed matt engarde, his own client as a murder, and saved his little sister, maya fey, so, why would he ever lie?

'The defense may begin the cross-examination'

apollo looked down at his notes, ..he might need to ask him on the details he missed, but whatever, ...he started his cross examination
