did apollo ever mention just how much he liked his new boss, after he found out what had happened he asked if the two were okay and if they were hurt, offred to called up a taxi for them, and even told apollo if he came into work a little late today it was fine, apollo only came in five minutes late that day, because he didn't want to push his luck

while mr wright was still at the hospital in recovery, apollo was temporally the head of the office whenever his boss wasn't around, he could make some decisions but not a lot of them

'Wow, that concert last night sure went south in a hurry!'

he said, looking out the window from his spot, trucy huffed as she crossed her arms

'No kidding. Why did they arrest Machi!? Why!?'

'Don't look at me like it's my fault!'

"Machi Tobaye, the blind pianist... ...arrested on suspicion of murdering Romein LeTouse"

Trucy sighd sadly

'I can't believe such a cute little boy could do something so horrible!'

Apollo shrugged

'I guess they had proof of some kind'

'What proof could possibly prove that!?'

she asked, but both stopped in their conversation when they heard the front door open

'Mornin'

klavier greeted as he smiled, apollo noticed how his eyes slightly widened at the decor in the office, it was a very pretty office, it was like a dark acidemic library mixed up with modern stuff, apollo got up from his spot in surprise, it wasn't every day you saw a prosecutor in your office

'P-Prosecutor Gavin?'

'What a night, eh? I apologize for being so upset...'

he said, and he meant it too

'Mr. Gavin, do you know what's going on? Why did they arrest Machi!? Why!?'

she demanded to know, apollo gently put a hand on her shoulder

'Don't look at him like it's his fault either'

klavier on the other hand, shrugged

'It was tough for me, too. We performed together that night, after all. Yet..., The powers that be say that, given the circumstances, it could only have been him'

'What do you mean by the "circumstances"?'

he asked him

'Lamiroir was invited from Borginia as an ambassador of goodwill. It is vital that this case be wrapped up swiftly. That's all the powers that be want, really'

'Well those are circumstances, alright. But what makes Machi the only possible suspect?'

he asked, klavier grinned

'Herr Forehead... You seem to have forgotten that you're talking to the prosecution... the enemy'

'Ah. Right'

"I think I like this side of Prosecutor Gavin better, actually"

he admitted to himself in his mind

'I'm not at liberty to discuss the particulars of the case. ...Especially not to the defense attorney'

'What... did you just say? Me? The defense attorney?'

he asked, raising a brow at him, klavier almost chuckled at his expression

'That's what I came to tell you. He's down at the detention center... He wants to request your services'

'He...? You mean Machi? Machi wants me...?'

trucy grinned in excitement

'This is what we've been waiting for, Apollo! Let's get going!'

'Uh... Right...!'

he said back, not really sure on how to take the news, klavier friendly grinned at the both of them

'Good luck. I'm off to question Lamiroir'

'R-Right. Later!'

"I hope I'm up to this..."

they both waited in their seats at the Detention Center for their client to appear

'Well, I just don't get it. I refuse to believe a cute little kid like that could do something so terrible'

'...You said that already'

apollo reminded her, they both stopped talking they heard the door close and open, machi spat on his chair, trucy spoke up instantly

'Machi! Everything's going to be OK! We're here for you!'

she promised, apollo gently pushed her back on her seat as he replied in a more professional way

'Um, h-hi. Maybe you can tell me about last night...'

Machi how only replayed in bolognese, both of them looked very confused, ..then it clicked into apollo's head, his client didn't know English, That also when he realized how tough it must be... A little kid like this... ...in a country so far from everything he's ever known

'Um, maybe Lamiroir can help?'

trucy said hopefully, normally when it came to languages, she would go to her father for help, he knew six languages after all, but he didn't know bolognese

'But didn't Prosecutor Gavin say she was with him?'

apollo said

'Well, what are we going to do?'

'That's, um, a good question'

"I can't think of anything we can do but go with this. ...And hope for the best at the trial tomorrow"
