Hinata was running all over the place so early in the morning. Earlier, an alarm clock was set for 6:00 AM. Once it went off, Kageyama unconsciously threw it off the table. Then, Hinata's phone rang at 7:00 AM. Kageyama crushed the screen by unconsciously hitting a volleyball that was, for some reason, he had beside his pillow. When the rays of the sun had entered their room by exactly 8:30, his eyes almost burned to a crisp by its brightness. He even cursed the whole time he was in the apartment.
"Ah, crap! I'm heading off!" Hinata screamed as he ran along the hallway, his voice echoing through almost the whole building.
Left alone in the bedroom, Kageyama was awake, blocking his face from the sunlight intruding his territory. Lying down. Underneath his arm had distraught written all over his face and his eyes, they had lost the vibrant gleam once in them. The daylight seeping through the curtains suddenly got dimmer, maybe the clouds are shrouding it. He crossed his legs as he sat up and stared at the windows, waiting for the blinding attack the sun was giving. But it never did.
I have already met my mate. Tsukishima was back.
"It's really cloudy today, huh......will it rain today?" Kageyama says, ignoring the truth his mind has spoken.
It was lunch when the two had met in the middle of the hallway. Hinata was surprised, starstruck, staring at the giant in front of him who looks like he'd murdered someone. "L-L-L-L-Let's eat l-l-l-lunch to-to-together." Kageyama mumbles.
"EH?! Y-yeah sure! But...this is...the first time you asked me...I was about to go to your class too." Hinata looked at his feet, embarrassed and too happy to function. "Hehehe..."
"Creepy. You're grinning from ear to ear." Kageyama inched away, holding up his hands.
"You're the last person I wanna hear that from! Idiot Kageyama!" The small boy fired back, flailing his arms in disagreement.
They headed off to the back of the school building and positioned themselves in the shades, beneath the trees. Hinata complained how unfair it was that his lover was huge when he only drinks milk & yogurt during lunch hours, compared to him who has always had a balanced diet since forever and yet he hasn't grown an inch since his third year at Karasuno High.
"It ain't my fault, dumbass." The tall guy frowns.
"NUUUUOOO!!! JUSTIIIIIIICEEE!!!" Hinata argues, throwing his fist in the air while pouting. Later smiling and laughing at his weirdness, it caused Kageyama's lips to also make a curve and think, You're stupid and dumb and clumsy in all ways possible yet...my Omega, you're being too adorable will be the death of me.
Before Hinata realizes it, he was pulled in for a soft kiss. Both set of lips, smooth and addicting. So before anything bad happens, Kageyama did not let it go further, no more than just a peck on the lips. As they parted, Kageyama was perplexed, seeing his partner's reaction. "Oi...Hinata...you're...panting, really hard..."
"Eh?" It was true. He was gasping for air. He looked like a fish out of water, his body losing its energy, growing weaker and more feeble as seconds fly by. His breathing started to get heavier; and then it hit them both---"I...I'm in heat...Kage---"
Suddenly, Kageyama picked Hinata up and carried him in his arms, rushing to the school gate. He called for a taxi and immediately ordered the driver where to go. "Dumbass! Your pheromones are going everywhere!!!" Luckily, there was a glass separating the back seat from the front. When an Omega is in heat, it does not matter whether it's an Alpha or a Beta, they will and surely will be allured to that person's smell, due to the large amount of pheromones released.
As soon as they got out of the car, they quickly turned heads. Other Alphas and Betas who couldn't help themselves, started dashing through the crowds. Kageyama made a run for it to the glass doors until the elevator. He felt relieved they were inside but there was still Hinata's lingering smell, their bodies were so close, it's troublesome being right under his nose. But it was better a situation than those 'sex beasts.' He was catching his breath, when the ping sound rang in his ears signaling they'd reached their floor, he shuffled towards their room, opening it the second it made a click from the card he swiped. After the door was closed behind them, Hinata struggled to get down, wriggling his way out of the king's grasp. "Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" When he succeeded, he fell straight to the floor with a loud thud. Kageyama panicked and he didn't think of checking for bruises first, he lost his patience and grabbed onto Hinata's shoulders after sitting him up then he shook him back and forth. "Get a hold of yourself, dumbass! Is it because of the heat?!"
Then, someone tugged at Kageyama's sleeve.
"HUH? WHAT N---"
"Kageyama.......hold me....." It was Hinata. The orange furball who was dripping with sweat and out of breath, collapsed on Kageyama. Shit, he's heavy..!!, Kageyama thought.
He reached for his right pocket, searching for something. Once he found it, he snapped one open, took the object, and shoved it in Hinata's mouth harshly, causing him to fall on his back and lose consciousness again. "That was close..." Kageyama sighed. He was exhausted from restraining himself everyday. He couldn't stop inhaling and exhaling at a dangerously odd speed.
That's when someone had rung the doorbell.
