" Mabel?" I said my voice almost cracking and my eyes almost wet. Then I dropped my books unknowingly then shared a tight hug with her

" Oh my God" I heard her say with a cracked voice, guess she was crying which made me tear up a bit.
Then we pulled away and shared a huge smile.
" I.. I can't believe this... Mabel?" I said and she nodded.
" I'm so glad to see you again but ... How?" She asked and I just smiled a bit.
" I'll tell you everything later okay? the most important thing is that we're together again" I said and she then gave me a hug again.
" Thank goodness for letting us meet again" she said and I laughed a bit.
" I missed you" I said .
" Me too, bestie" she said, I really missed her , I mean watching her go from the orphanage made me broken and now seeing her again.. I couldn't describe the joy that filled my heart .
" So which grade are you?" She asked and I simply told her that I was in 7th grade, with that her face brightened up like the sun.
" Omg, we're in the same grade" she said and we both squealed causing some students to give us weird looks but we were to happy to care.
" Come on , I'll take you to class" she said and I nodded. I looked down at my already scattered books and laughed nervously.
" I'll help you, silly" she chuckled then helped me with half of my books while I took the other half. Afterwards she showed me my locker which was surprisingly close to hers but just two lockers away.
Then the school bell rang signifying that it was time for classes.
" We're having English"
" English?" I asked and she nodded.
" Come on, let's head to class before we're late" she said and we both walked down the hallway to our first class.

I sat on a seat near to Mabel's cause I might feel super nervous if I should seat with another person knowing it's my first day at school.
Then other students began to walk into the class taking their seats , some gave me a glance while some stared at me in confusion and I just put my head down nervously.
" Don't worry about them, you'll be fine" mabel whispered to me and I gave her a small smile.
" Hey guys" Mabel greeted some people that I didn't even care to look at.
Then a woman in her late thirties came into the class holding some books. Guess it was time for class.
" Good morning students, it's time for class" she greeted with a huge smile on her face that made me feel at ease a little bit.
She took a look at everyone before her eyes finally landed on me and she smiled.
" Hello darling, care to introduce yourself to the class?"
