Valentines Day!!!!!!

Jack
What had gotten over me? I can't believe I said that to her. My love. I snuck out of my room after a sleepless night. It was four in the morning. I couldn't sleep. I quietly crept to Rapunzel, I was about to in, when the door opened. Gavin was slowly creeping out. When he saw me he jumped.
"Where are you going?" I ask suspiciously. He looked at me confused.
"To the bathroom. Why?" He asked. I rubbed the back of my neck.
"I wanted to talk to you." I say. He smiled. Maybe he was a good guy. He nodded. He quickly went to the bathroom and I waited by the globe. When he came back a minute later, he sat next to me. I sighed.
"Are you really her twin? I don't know why but there is a tiny doubt in my mind." I was embarrassed to admit it. He looked at me with look that said: Really? Ok. He chuckled.
"Yes we are truly siblings. The reason my hair turned black, is because I was forced to do dark things and live in a house with no sunlight." He explained smiling. I let out a breath of relief. I smiled. Then my smile faded.
"So, is she mad?" I ask. I can't believe I let my stupid jealousy take over. He winced.
"She's pretty worked up, what happened?" I shrugged.
"I guess my 'jealousy' took over." I say wincing. He thought about it for a moment.
"What's today's date?" He asked.
"I think it's March 20th." I say.
"Great! Tomorrow is our birthday! Plan a surprise party and she'll know you care about her!" He said.
"Let's start planning!" I say with a smirk.

I crept into Rapunzel's room, it was her birthday. I woke up Eugene and told him not to mention her birthday. I crept up. I shook her. She moaned and rolled over.
"Wake up Rapunzel! Something's going on with the globe!" I shout. She shot up.
"What?" She asked, suddenly wide awake. I grabbed her arm and pulled her in the direction of the globe. We had made a decoy of the globe. We programmed it to have all the lights slowly go out. I pointed at the globe. All the lights started going out, fast. She gasped. Gavin was planned to be coming out of his room, looking like he had just woken up. Rapunzel turned and ran back to her room to change. She ran right into Gavin. To play the part I glared at Gavin. She gave him a hug and rushed off. She came back moments later. Her hair was brushed, and she changed into normal clothes, instead of her oversized Fall Out Boy sweater and pj pants. She glared at me as we ran to the nearest city to start spreading our gifts. Gavin was holding Eugene, and ran with us. Meanwhile back at the pole, North, Tooth, and Sandy were preparing the area for a surprise birthday party. I guided the, deep into the forest for a faux surprise. It was a birthday cupcake and a balloon. When we got to the clearing I put a poker face on. I was supposed to act like I forgot, and that Gavin had set the whole thing up. I also had to act like I still didn't trust them. This would be hard.
Before I started acting, I winked at Gavin, so he would know. We ran right to the 'surprise.'
"Surprise!" Gavin shouts. He smiled and gave Rapunzel a hug. I scowled.
"It was your birthday?" I ask pretending. She looked at my with heart broken eyes. I almost gave in there but I had to hold strong. It was for a good cause. Tears welled in her eyes again. She held them back.
"Yeah! It is! It is always on March 21st! Always Jack! I can't believe you forgot!" She yelled. Gavin set Eugene down. He, pretend, glared at me. He put his hands on Rapunzel's shoulders.
"Cmon, blow out your candle." He said smiling at her. For good effect I glared at him through the whole birthday song. When it ended, she tried to blow out the candles, they re-lit. I snickered. She turned around and glared at me.
"Wanna know my wish, Frost? It's to have my friend back." She said running off in tears. Luckily we were far enough away that the others would be done. I looked at Gavin. We fist bumped and ran after her. I was carrying Eugene this time. When I caught up with her, we were almost there. Tears traced her cheeks. This was so hard.
"Rapunzel wait!" I yell. As soon as we reached the pole she turned. Tears were still running down her face.
"What Jack? What? What is so important that you can't let me be sad, you have to make me miserable?" She asked through tears. She was on the edge of full on crying so I had to make this quick.
"I just wanted to say," I walked up to the doors, "wish granted." I said as I pushed open the doors to reveal the surprise party. She stood there dazed. She looked at me and mouthed the words You? I nodded and rubbed the back of my neck with my free hand. She smiled and ran inside. When Gavin saw her run in, he came out of hiding. I handed him Eugene and we fist-bumped. I smirked at him and we walked in. I turned on the music playlist I made for Rapunzel. It was all of her favorite songs. The one slow song was our love song, All of Me by, John Legend. We danced for the whole night and right before midnight I looked at Gavin and gave him the signal to play our song.
He turned it on. Rapunzel's face lit up. I walked over to her confidently.
"May I have this dance?" I ask holding out my hand. She took my hand.
"You may." She said laughing. My hands were on her waist and her hands were wrapped around my neck. During the song she spoke.
"You planned all of this with Gavin?" She asked.
"Yeah, do you like it?" I ask nervous. She laughed at my anxiety.
"I love it. Why did you say those hurtful things that one night?" She asked, her smile fading.
"Something in my brain snapped, I honestly don't know why I did what I did. I'm so sorry. I was just so scared of losing you." She smiled. I blushed. Then I remembered.
"Eugene! Don't you have something to give your sister?" I ask smiling. He came running over with a handwritten card. It was in little kid writing, but it was legible. She gasped.
"Eugene it's beautiful! Thank you!" She gave him a hug and he ran off to go play with the dream sand some more. We returned to slow dancing.
"Did you teach him to write?" She said, still amazed. I nodded. She put her head to my chest and we swayed in circles. At mid plight we had plans to light the birthday cake and have her make a new wish. I looked at the time. 11:58. I looked for Gavin. I couldn't find him. When the song ended, I kissed Rapunzel, and went to go find him. I ran outside.
"Gavin? Gavin! It's time to light the cake!" I yell trying to find him. I couldn't do I eventually went inside to see everyone crowed around someone on the ground. My heart beat sped up as I ran over. I didn't see my Princess, nor her brother.
"What's going on?" I start, my voice died in my throat when I saw Gavin lying there unconscious. I saw Rapunzel by the door crying. I ran up and hugged her while Sandy tried to revive him. I saw a puddle of blood around Gavin. I turned Rapunzel away and walked outside with her. She sobbed into my shirt.
"Why? Why does this always happen to me?" She screamed at man in the moon. I hugged her. I eventually walked her inside. It was starting to rain. The weather almost always reacts with me. When I'm sad it rains. When I'm happy it's sunny. When I'm excited it snows. It's very strange. When I opened the door I heard a voice.
"I told you that I wouldn't leave you." Gavin said. Rapunzel looked up and ran to him. She hugged him and I smiled.
"Are you a guardian?" I asked.
Rapunzel
When I saw Gavin standing up perfectly. I ran to him. Tears started flowing again. More tears then usual. I ran to him and hugged him. I cried on his shoulder, tears of joy.
"Don't ever scare me like that again!" I whisper.
"Are you a guardian." Jack asked. Gavin nodded and broke the hug.
"I'm the guardian of knowledge and literature." He said smiling. I smiled and hugged him again. When I broke apart I stopped. The screams started. The thoughts jumbling through my head. My knees buckled. I covered my ears with my hands. I was crying now for a completely different reason. Gavin walked up to me and crouched down.
"What's wrong?" He said. I could barely hear over the noises in my head. I couldn't speak. I just shook my head. He backed away when Jack ran up form talking to North. He ran up and slid on the floor to reach me. He put his arms around me. I found the courage to talk.
"The screams won't go away! Jack! I can't handle this!" I scream. He kept his arms around me.
"They are just pretend. Someone's trying to get to you. They are not real." He said. I slowly nodded. We sat there and when the screams started to fade I hugged him back. We sat there holding each other. When my head stopped spinning, and the screaming stopped, I looked up at him. He smiled at me. I gave a weak smile back. He stood up and helped me to my feet. I hugged him and he kissed the top of my forehead. I smiled and tried to forget what I heard. I heard a whisper during the screams. 'Just give Jack Frost to me and the screams will stop. If not, well be prepared to come with me to the dark side.' I shuttered when I thought about it.
"Wh-where's Eugene?" I ask frantically looking around. He looked around and looked confused.
"I don't know." His voice trailed off. I looked everywhere and finally saw him running outside to a tree. The tree looked strange.
"Eugene! Baby! Don't move! Eugene!" I scream running outside to him. I ran grabbed him and slid into the tree's shadow.
"Don't ever scare me like that again." I say hugging him. I started to get up When I felt a tug at my dress. I looked back to see nothing holding it. I tried walking forward again.
"Jack!" I scream. I set Eugene down outside the shadow.
"Run to Gavin now!" I say. He ran to Gavin who picked him up. Jack ran out. He ran all the way up to me and stopped. In fact, everything stopped. My world froze. I turned around to face Pitch. Can't this son of a bitch stay dead? I think to my self.
"I don't think you understand. Fear is always here. It can never die." Pitch whispered in my ear. I recoiled as his lips brushed my ear as he spoke. I couldn't move. I had a look of disgust on my face.
"What are you going to do to me?" I ask, confidently. He moved in front and tilted my chin up to face him. I moved my face away.
"I brought you here to make you a deal." He started.
"What kind of deal?. I ask. He smirked.
"You voluntarily give me Jack Frost." He said.
"Or what!" I shout. His smile faded.
"Or, I take you instead. You see, I need someone to do my dark, jobs. Someone soulless, heartless and emotionless." He said glaring at me. I spat in his direction.
"Fine." Pitch said. I felt a sharp piercing, feeling in my heart. My knees buckled. When I hit the ground I was back in my world. I gasped for air.
"Punz! Your hair!" Jack gasped. I just sat there stunned. When I realized what had happened my hand flew up to my hair.
"What? What happened to my hair?" I say, panicked. Jack touched the ground with his staff to create a reflective surface. I looked in it. There was a black streak in my light brown hair. My roots were turning dark gray. I gasped.
"Jack? I'm scared." I say looking up at him. Tears were welling in both of our eyes. He reached out and hugged me.
"I know what happened." He whispered in my ear. I started to cry.
"I couldn't let him hurt you Jack. I'm sorry. Please don't tell Gavin or anyone about it." I cry. I felt him nod. After I stopped crying, we sat there for a while. Nobody stopped us. When I saw the sun start to set we leaned against the tree. He had one arm around my shoulder and the other around my waist. I was leaning in his chest, reassuring myself hearing his heartbeat.
"Jack, can you tell me the story about how the sun loved the moon so much, she died every night just to let him breathe?" I ask in a small, hushed, voice. He nodded and started the story. I yawned and comforted by his voice, I slowly drifted of to sleep. When I woke up I was in my room. Jack must've put my there last night. I got up and when I passed the mirror, I gasped. That night more of the gray and black had claimed my once golden hair. People are going to notice and ask questions, I thought to myself. Just the thought made me anxious. I poked my head out of my door and when no one was looking I ran into Jack's room. I closed the door to find a sleeping Jack. I walked over to his bed.
"Jack. Jack please wake up!" I said shaking his arm.
"Five more minutes Punz. Please?" Jack said rolling over.
"Jack, please." I say softly. I was on the verge of tears. He knew something was going on when I didn't throw a pillow at his head. He sat up.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I ran up and hugged him. He noticed my hair.
"Punz we have to tell someone about this! It's getting out of hand!" He exclaimed. I shook my head furiously.
"If we do he'll take you instead." I say.
"I'd rather him take me then see my light burnt out." He whispered in my ear. I let the tears fall down my face. I looked at the time. The clock read 4:39 am. I yawned realizing I woke up from a nightmare, we laid next to each other and we both fell back asleep.
"Where's Rapunzel?" I hear someone scream. I recognized Gavin's voice.
"Jack. Jack! People are looking for me!" I say hitting his arm. He sat up. I heard him curse under his breath. I did too. I quickly brushed my hair and put in on one of Jack's sweatshirts. He chuckled under his breath.
"What's so funny?. I ask.
"Nothing it's just you are wearing my sweater. It's cute." He said smiling. I blushed.
"How are we going to hide my hair?" I ask. Jack pondered this for a moment.
"We can't." He said. I took a deep breath. I grabbed his hand.
"Let's go." I say. We walked out if his room which earned us looks from Bunny and North. Tooth looked confused, and Gavin was holding Eugene and glaring at Jack. He wrapped hi arm around my waist. I did the same.
"What's going on?" I say with a false smile. Tooth stepped forward.
"What happened to your hair?" She asked touching the streaks of black. Jack opened his mouth to speak until I cut him off.
"I dyed my hair, you like?" I ask. Tooth smiled, obviously relieved. Gavin looked suspicious and I looked at Jack. He guided me to another room.
"Why did you do that?" He almost yelled.
"I can't let him take you too." I whisper. His scowl faded. He hugged me.
"I can't let him take my light away from me." He said.
"We'll figure this out. I promise." He said. He kissed the top of my head and we found some breakfast. After eating I pulled out my phone. I called my parents.
"Rapunzel ?" I hear my mother scream into the phone. This brought tears to my eyes.
"Hi mom. It's Rapunzel." I say my voice cracking. I heard my parents sob on the other end.
"I'm sorry I didn't call, or visit you more. A lot of amazing things have been happening." I start to say. Gavin walked in the room.
"We're going to visit the castle as soon as possible. I promise. Okay? I just wanted to let you know that me and Eugene are safe." I say.
"O-okay. See you guys soon." My mom said ending our phone conversation. I turned to Jack and Gavin.
"Ready to see my parents again?" I ask them. Gavin nodded. Jack smiled. I went to Eugene and Gavin's room to get Eugene. I saw him asleep on his bed. It was around this nap time. I walked over and started tickling him. He woke up and started laughing.
"You ready to see mommy and daddy again?" I ask.
"Yeah!" He said laughing. I smiled at him.
"Uppie Sissie Uppie." He said holding his arms out for me to pick him up. I picked him up and gathered a few things. We said goodbye to the other guardians and went off to see my parents. I grabbed Jack's hand and we walked side by side. Gavin now held Eugene. Soon a sharp, piercing, sensation crossed my body. my knees gave out. Soon after a cold feeling ran across my body. I felt a new streak of black appear.
"Punz!" Jack yelled. kneeling down to catch me, before my head hit the ground. I looked up at him. I took a deep breath. The feeling was over, but I felt different. He smiled at me. For some reason I couldn't smile back. Tears came to my eyes, but none spilled over. I felt completely emotionless.
Jack carried me the rest of the trip. Almost all of my hair was jet black. Gavin kept asking questions but I didn't answer them. By the time we got to the castle I was scared out of my mind, but I couldn't express it. I started crying. When we got there Jack ran me up to my room. He sat me down on my bed.
"Punz we have to tell someone about this! It is officially out of hand." He said. I tried to say i was sorry but my mouth didn't say those words.
"What's the point?" I ask. Jack looked back at me. He was shocked. I started to cry. He hugged me. I cried into his shirt until we heard a knock on my door. The door slowly opened. It revealed my parents teary eyed.
"Rapunzel, are you okay?" My mom asked. I tried to smile and say I was fine, but again I didn't have those emotions anymore. Jack answered for me.
"She's just not feeling good. She should be feeling better by tomorrow." He said smiling. My parents left, reassured. He looked at me with a sad expression.
"I'm so sorry." He kissed me. All the darkness left me. My hair turned back into a golden brown. All the dark thoughts and screams left my head. I gasped for air. I was free. I Looked back at Jack. His white hair had turned completely turned black. His crystal clear blue eyes had turned gray. He also gained dark circles around his eyes.
"Jack!" I gasped. I got up. He was unresponsive. I touched his face. Instead of being slightly chilled, the cold burned my hand. I pulled away quick.
"Jack?" I ask, hoping he would respond. I put both hands on his cheek, ignoring the pain. Something surfaced slightly on his face. It was instantly killed. I kissed him hoping to reverse the curse again. When I pulled away, I felt no difference. He looked the same. I started crying. I tried kissing him again. Nothing. I was crying more. Finally he responded. He grabbed his staff and flew out my open window.
"Jack!" I scream running to the stairwell. I slid down the railing, and swung the front door open. I ran outside to see Jack landing in the front yard. I ran faster and grabbed his hand, he glared at me, his gray eyes piercing through my soul. He shook off my arm and flew off. Tears were streaming down my face. I ran inside grabbed a pair of keys not caring who's car I was about to hijack. I got in and started driving. I am glad it was a Jeep, because I was going off roading. I followed the trail of black ice. I hoped it would lead me to where Jack was. Soon the ice started melting. I sped up. I skid to a stop when I reached a broken bed frame. Underneath it, was a hole. I jumped out of the car and ran up. The ice stopped at the bed. I took a deep breath. I jumped down and held my breath. I landed in a pile of, what? I shivered and got up. I crept around the corner and heard voices. I stopped. I hid behind the wall and listened.
"Jack, my new dark angel. I knew you couldn't let your Punzie be taken away by me. It's what I planned. Now I have left you with no emotions. You can't feel love, compassion, empathy, nothing but hatred and jealousy. You will be the downfall of the guardians. You will destroy them and yourself." Pitch snarled. I couldn't hold in my rage anymore.
"No he won't." I started to sing.
If you'll be my star I'll be your sky You can hide underneath me and come out at night.

I started. My golden brown hair started to glow. I had no clue what was happened in but I continued anyway.
When I turn jet black
And you show off your light

Pitch exploded in golden sand. I gasped for breath and fell backwards. Jack fell to the ground too. I crawled over. Something was wrong with me. When I reached him. I touched his cheek with a shaky hand. The dull ache in my body turned into a sharp, burning sensation. I kissed him. He opened his blue eyes. He smiled. His hair slowly turned back to normal. His eyes were brighter.
"Hey." I say, my voice cracking. He reached out and hugged me. I felt myself go limp.
Jack
The darkness left my body as soon as Rapunzel's lips touched mine. When I saw her staring hopefully at me waiting for a sign, I smiled.
"Hey." She said. Her voice cracked at the end. I sat up quick and hugged her. I was done with all this drama! I just wanted for her to live a normal life. That's not going to happen. Not as long as your with her dummy. I think to myself. A tear traced my cheek. I felt Rapunzel go limp. I quickly pulled away and looked at the unconscious Rapunzel in my arms. Her hair turned pitch black. Not even the slightest light color in her hair. Her skin color turned to a pale gray. As I held her I felt that she was getting colder by the second. A tear fell off my face, and landed on her cheek. She opened her eyes. I gasped. They were no longer emerald green, they were a dark gray. She smiled slightly. That small smile faded when she saw how confused I was.
"How did you save me?" I ask, hoping my suspicions weren't correct.
"I-I sang and my hair started glowing, why?" She asked. She looked obviously scared. I winced.
"You might have burnt out your own light. I will ask Manny tonight, and we should probably ask Sandy about this." I say. Tears welled in her eyes.
"I couldn't let him use you like a puppet Jack! He as going to make you kill me, then turn you back for you to see what you did. He was going to destroy you." She cried. I held her.
"Nothing is going to happen. I promise you, we will get at least a week vacation. You, me, Eugene, and Gavin." I looked at her hopefully. She smiled.
"Maybe just you and me for a while." She said shyly. I saw her blush. I smiled.
"Yeah." I say. I held her until she was strong enough to stand. I helped her up and she was still weak. I bit my lip.
"Rapunzel, I think I know what's happening with you. We need to get you into the sunlight now!" I say. I held her and we flew up. Once we were out of the liar, Rapunzel's skin instantly started to gain its color back. Her hair started to become gold again. She smiled.
"When you spend to long in the dark realm, you start to turn dark." I explain. She looked scared.
"But don't worry. As long as you stay in the sun, it won't be a problem." I say. She nodded and hugged me.
"Let's head back to the pole." I say picking her up and flying off. When we got there, she yawned and went to bed. I looked at the calendar. It was February 13th. Tomorrow was Valentine's Day. I smile to myself as I start to plan what I wanted to do.

Rapunzel
I woke up to Jack running in my room.
"Happy Valentines Day!" He screams. I scream startled.
"What the heck." I say hitting his arm.
"Ow, I just brought you breakfast in bed." He says shielding himself. He pulled out a tray filled with my favorite foods.
"Oh sorry. You just startled me!" I say laughing. He set the tray on my lap and sat next to me.
"Thank you!" I say kissing his cheek. After we finished eating, he took me ice skating. He taught me how to skate and I held onto him the entire time. We watched the sunset on a hill. After the most romantic day of my life, Jack took me back to the castle to meet up with my brothers and parents. Jack left to go to the North Pole, and I hung out with my family. Before we went to bed my parents pulled me aside.
"Rapunzel we really need to speak with you." My dad said.
"What is it?" I ask concerned.
"You know we love you. You know our kingdom is prosperous." My dad starts.
"Yes, where's this going." I ask suspicious. My mother out her arm around me and guided me to a chair. I stood up and moved away.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"Berk is growing poor, and well," I cut him off.
"Please tell me I'm going to have to marry Hiccup." I say laughing. I looked at my parents straight face.
"I'm not going to marry hiccup!" I yell. My mother grabbed my hands.
"It's for the best." She says soothingly. I pull my arms away.
"No! I won't do it!" I scream.
"Why not?" My dad exclaims.
"Because I'm in love with Jack Frost!" I yell back. I was crying now. I turned away from my parents.
"You are marrying Hiccup and that's final." My dad says softly. My mom tried to hug me but I pushed her away and ran to my room.
