Katsuki was happy to pack his bags on Friday. Reverting to the asshole he used to be, hit him harder than he would've liked and pushing everyone away from him was far from pleasant... But it was for the best, he needed to remember that. Soon he'll be able to tell the pro's what he knows, that was his goal. Yet for now, he was relieved to finally go home so he could stop pretending for a moment. So he could be around the people he loved without being a jerk about it.
Ugh, he didn't want to admit it, but he really wanted a hug... Damn shitty hair, it's all his fault for making him rely on touch so much! That guy always clung onto him like some sort of koala!
With a sigh, he closed his bag and picked it up. Time to head out of this cramped dorm room and get back home where he could allow himself to stay wherever he wanted. Locking himself away in his dorm room only made him feel more alone... But he was alone, wasn't he? He wanted to be alone...so that he wouldn't be able to hurt anyone. So nobody would get caught up in the crossfire...
With one last sigh, he left his room, walking straight up to the elevator and ignoring everyone on his path in the common room. Nobody questioned where he was going and most people tried not to look at him. Katsuki had let them know not to mess with him more than once this week and it seemed they finally started to learn. He has lashed out in anger, insulted them, made sure some of them even hated him.
Katsuki wasn't sure whether the damage he was inflicting was reversible. Whether or not he could go back to being a good class rep when this was all over, making them meals and talking about nerdy shit as they build their own little machines. Ugh, Deku should just see him now... And he used to call him a nerd. Tch, seems like their roles really did switch, huh?
Speaking of that nerd... Katsuki frowned as he saw him walking along the path in front of him. Izuku hadn't seen him yet, and Katsuki intended it to stay that way. A part of him wanted to stop him, to prevent him from going home and spend any more time with that awful man he calls his dad. But another part of him knew that wasn't possible. He wouldn't be able to stop Izuku even if he wanted to. Even if he would tell him his dad is All For One, Katsuki doubted he would believe him.
Besides... It made Izuku happy... He was finally able to spend time with his dad after all these years apart... And it's not like Hisashi intended to hurt his son, at least not to Katsuki's knowledge. So it was okay...for now.
Katsuki saw his parents chat with Izuku's parents at the gate of the school. His eyes fell upon Hisashi and he unintentionally started to walk slower. It was the first time he saw the man in person after what happened the previous weekend and the wound was still very fresh. Katsuki glanced aside, seeing Aizawa sensei standing at the gate to open and close it. He bit his lip, looking at the ground as he walked up to the group of people.
"You know the rules. Be back on Sunday before curfew" Aizawa sighed, looking at the two students.
"And I mean inside the dorms, understand Bakugou?"
"Yes Aizawa sensei" Katsuki mumbled, not looking the man in the eye, not wanting him to see the fear in them. He didn't acknowledge Izuku's presence either, let alone his parents. He simply walked over to the car and put his bag inside before stepping in himself, ignoring the greetings of his parents and his auntie and uncle.
"Katsuki must be tired, we should head home and make sure to get some rest. We have to get up early tomorrow morning!" Masaru smiled, making excuses for Katsuki's behavior.
"Of course, we'll see each other again tomorrow" Hisashi smiled, all of them saying their goodbyes before both families went over to their own cars."You could've at least said hello, you know?" Mitsuki huffed, glancing back to her son as she sat down in the car. Katsuki sighed, mumbling a small sorry.
"You look tired" Masaru commented.
"Can you get some sleep in the dorms?"
"Nightmares" Katsuki sighed, looking out the window once Hisashi's car was out of view.
