Izuku was excited when the big three came in to explain work studies to their class. Almost all of them had their provincial license now and were qualified to help heroes out in the field. It wasn't normally something first year students did, but Aizawa sensei explained that after having discussed it, the school made an exception this year due to the...extraordinary circumstances.

It wasn't mandatory though and those who wanted to do work studies would have to take extra classes after school so they won't fall behind. Izuku didn't mind all that though, simply hyped up by the fact he would be able to help people. The fact they got their asses beat by a single third year actually peaked his interest even more. If he could become that strong... If he could train to be at his level, he would definitely be able to save everyone within his reach.

"Listen Midoriya, you are not certain of acquiring a work study, neither if the school will accept it or not. There are very strict conditions" Aizawa sensei explained after class as they walked to a private room. These quirk counseling sessions reminded him a lot of his meetings with All Might, yet Aizawa didn't make it a secret that he was counseling Midoriya. The teachers had no reason to stop him, they all agreed that Midoriya's quirk was self destructive and needed to be monitored closely.

"I know, Aizawa sensei" Izuku sighed, following him into their usual room, closing the door behind him. Izuku immediately noticed some student files laying on the table, only recognizing one. Shinsou Hitoshi. They fought at the Sportsfestival. He was a general studies student. Why did Aizawa sensei have his student file laying around here..?

"I apologize for the mess" the black haired teacher sighed, collecting all the files and putting them in a neat stack at the edge of the table.
"If you don't mind me asking sensei, why are you looking into someone from the general studies department?" Izuku asked, confused and kinda curious.

"Ah, you saw huh?" Aizawa sighed, dragging a hand through his hair.
"Well, I was looking at potential transfer students"
"Transfer-?" Izuku mumbled confused, cutting himself off as he realised what Aizawa implied by that. He was looking at students who could fill in the empty spot in their class...

He was considering promoting someone from general studies to the hero course and take Kacchan's place. Now that he thought about it, Kacchan's spot has been empty for a while now, hasn't it? Izuku actually expected it to be filled much quicker than this.

"I would appreciate it if you kept this information between us. I know Bakugou's departure is still somewhat of a sensitive subject to some of you" Shouta explained.
"Besides, we still have to test them to make sure they're fit for the hero course so it'll take a while before things get final"

"I understand, Aizawa sensei. I won't tell anyone" Izuku nodded, sitting down in front of the teacher. Well, it's now or never...
"Uhm, there is actually something I've been meaning to ask you before we start our session"
"Oh? What is it? Something about the course material?" he asked, raising a brow.

"N-no, uhm, it's... Well, I was wondering if you could teach me how to handle someone who is having a panic attack?" Izuku asked, seeing Aizawa sensei lean forward in his chair a bit.
"This is about Bakugou" he stated, it wasn't a question. Of course Aizawa knew Izuku wanted to learn it to help Katsuki. It was painfully obvious, wasn't it? But he still hasn't rejected the idea, so there might be a chance he's willing to teach Izuku so he could help Kacchan.

"I was planning on teaching you about recognizing the signs and dealing with trauma later in the year, but I guess it can be moved forward..."
"R-really?" Izuku gasped, staring at his homeroom teacher with big eyes. Not only would Aizawa sensei teach him, but the whole class! Izuku knew the Bakusquad would want to help Kacchan as well, so this was great news!
