Katsuki must admit he felt somewhat relieved to have Majutsu in on his dilemma, although his tired and emotional outburst after she brought him home the other day was something he'd rather forget. It made going back to school a little bit easier... He glanced aside at the black haired girl walking next to him, quickly looking back at the path in front of him when she noticed him looking. She laughed, making Katsuki scowl.
"You're acting so tense! Lighten up a little, will ya?" she laughed.
"Oi! It's not funny, okay?!" Katsuki hissed, glaring at her.
"I know, I know, I'm sorry" Majutsu chuckled, waving it off.
"But seriously though, you're overthinking this. Just follow your heart"
"Tch, you've got it easy talking like that... You're not the one who has to make the decision" Katsuki grunted, putting his hands in his pockets.Majutsu rolled her eyes at that, not commenting on it any further. She had accepted his grumpiness long ago, yet she still liked to tease him every now and then. This wasn't just being grumpy though... Majutsu understood the weight of this decision, knew how serious this was. It couldn't be easy for him, but maybe she could make it a little more bearable if she joked about it a little? She could only try... That's what friends do, right? Speaking about friends-
"Hey Bakubro! Hey Majutsu!"
The redhead threw his arm around the blonde's shoulder, grinning his toothy smile.
"You're in a good mood" Majutsu chuckled.
"Of course! I'm just glad Bakugou is coming back to school again" Kirishima smiled.
"It's not like you'll see me outside of lunch" Katsuki pointed out."Can I not be glad my best bro is doing well?" Kirishima asked, looking at him with those damn innocent red eyes. They rivaled Izuku's, for sure. Katsuki gave him a small smile and pushed his arm off of him. This damn idiot... Katsuki was lucky to have friends like this... He didn't want to become distant and lose them due to his quirk...
"Morning Kacchan!"
Katsuki looked ahead, seeing his boyfriend run up to them. He noticed a lot of his former classmates on the pathway as well, all making their way to the main building. Looks like they came out around the same time class 1-A did...
"Morning Izu-" Katsuki breathed, cutting off his sentence as the green head hugged him. He'd been showing him more affection ever since he came back, not caring whether or not they were in public. Katsuki wanted it, yet he felt like he didn't deserve it. So everytime Izuku suddenly did things like this he simply froze up, unable to react to the sweetness that was given to him.
"Are you ready for today? Slept well?" the green head asked as he pulled back."...Yeah, I'm fine" Katsuki sighed, forcing a small smile.
"Come on, we need to get going before we miss the bell"
With that, Izuku pulled Katsuki's hand from his pocket and intertwined their fingers, holding hands on their way to school. Katsuki didn't protest or struggle, he just didn't react at all, simply letting it happen."We've got joint training with 1-B today. I can't wait to spar with Tetsutetsu!" Kirishima exclaimed, clearly looking forward to it.
"Yeah, Aizawa sensei did say it would be us against them so sparring is definitely an option..." Izuku muttered. Ah, so the black ray of sunshine didn't give them any details on training ahead of time. How typical...Katsuki didn't miss that part of the hero course. Always feeling unprepared, not knowing what the day would bring. It was annoying and frustrating and he was glad Maijima sensei gave them handouts with information about the classes and schedules ahead of time. It was one less thing to worry about, really.
"Maybe it'll be individual fights, like the last round of the Sportsfestival? Oh, or maybe in teams? They could mix up the classes to make it interesting" Izuku rambled. He always liked to guess at what they would be doing in training whenever Aizawa sensei didn't feel like telling them ahead of time. It was mostly when he hadn't planned anything out yet, but since this was joint training, they had a plan for sure.
