"Ahh... they probably have started their first paper already..." mumble Hikaru to herself. "Sigh... If this is not my fate, I would be taking the entrance exam together with them right now..."

Hikaru pushes her wheelchair strongly to the main gate of the disability school. When the wheelchair was about to cross the gate, someone shouted her name making her stop and turn to the sound. A figure running in her direction.

"Morita-san!! Where are you going?" Asked one of the caretakers there, Sugai Yuuka.

"Ahh... I just want to buy something. The shop just near here," Hikaru said and smiled at her.

"Alone?" asked Yuuka, receiving a nod from Hikaru. "C-can I go with you?"

"No need. I can go alone. The shop is just near here. You should go and take care of the others."

"But Morita-san, you-"

"I will be fine, trust me."

"Are you sure?" Asked Yuuka, full of concern. Hikaru nods, a smile still not leaving her face. "B-But I can push your wheelchair. It will be easier for you," Yuuka is still not giving up. She is scared something might happen to Hikaru.

"No, seriously. I am fine going there by myself. After all... I... want some me-time alone..." said Hikaru, persuading Yuuka.

"Is- Is that so? I see... okay then, if anything happens, quickly call me, okay??" said Yuuka, still feeling uneasy with Hikaru's decision.

Hikaru nod and push her wheelchair further leaving Yuuka behind. "I will, thank you."

__________

Hikaru is now breathing heavily. She is already halfway to her destination but she started to feel tired. Pushing her wheelchair on her own is actually hard as her body muscles are not really working well due to the side effect of the disease. Because of it, Hikaru also started to find it difficult to write, drawing, and even knitting, which is one of her hobbies.

Even though she started to feel tired, her friends' faces started to flash in her mind, like giving a magical spell to her to keep going. She is thinking to make a handmade for three of them to congratulate them for finishing the entrance exam after a week. Hikaru is very sure that they will get a good result because she can really see it, her friends worked so hard for it.

"Hmm what should I make for them...?" think Hikaru. After minutes, she finally decided to knit a small cute name on a handkerchief for each of them. Hikaru smiled as she imagined how cute it is going to be.

She went out of the shop humming happily at herself with a plastic bag on her lap. 3 pieces of handkerchief and things for knitting. She can't help but smile sheepishly imagining how they going to react. Actually, she can make it done in just one day but with her current state, it might take her 5 to 6 days to finish it. If and only if she worked very very hard on it.

A big sigh left her mouth, remembering her fate with the disease.

Hikaru looks up at the sky, the sky that she thought was the beautiful blue skies that can make her mind at ease. Luck is not on her side. The skies are now grey-colored.

"Oh my god... the skies are about to cry! I better hurry up!!" mumbled Hikaru to herself, trying to push her wheelchair harder and faster. She is already halfway and already losing strength.

"Skies! Please! Please hold up your tears longer!!" shout Hikaru but the skies don't give a damn care. It started to cry heavily out of a sudden.

"Argh!!" Hikaru looked around trying to find shelter but again, luck is not siding her. No shelter can be found nearby.

Again and again, luck is like getting revenge on her, Hikaru's wheelchair got stuck in a paddle. And now, the wheelchair turned upside down.

Hikaru is now lying on the lonely road. Trying to get up but she couldn't without any help.

Shouting for help but no one is around. That is when her regrets started to kick in.

She started to cry. Her tears became one with the rain.

There's not much strength left. With the remaining strength, she tried her very best to hold the things she just bought tightly close to her chest, like protecting it from something. At that moment also, she just remembered she brought along her phone with her.

Once again, luck hates her so much today. The phone is out of her reach.

"Idiot me..." whisper Hikaru to herself, her heart cursing herself more and more. Her ego declining Yuuka's offer early now turned into her biggest regret of the day.

And the skies. The skies keep on crying, crying, and crying. Not giving any mercy to the lifeless Hikaru.
