It was the next morning. Ross went out for a run letting me have quiet time to think on my own. Hilary's trying to get a hold of me but I just ignore her. I couldn't talk to her, not after what she accused Ross and I for. She's suppose to be my best friend but maybe you can't always have the bestest friend in the entire world. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Ross? No, he has a key. Hilary? Ugh, it better not be her. Whatever. I walk downstairs to open the door and.....
"Daddy!?" I screech in surprise.
"Hey princess!" my dad exclaims opening his arms for me to hug him.
I walk over to him and give him a big hug.
"I missed you daddy!"
"I missed you too" he says back.
We pull away.
"Where's Ross?" he ask looking around the place.
"Oh he went out for a run"
"I didn't hire him to go run" he says.
"I know but it's okay dad" I calm him down a bit.
He sighs. "Honey, you do realize that Ross has to go, right?" he tells me.

"B-But I thought he'd get to...." I stop talking.
"Honey I know what you and Ross have been doing while I was gone"
My eyes widen.
"Wh--H-Ho--Huh?!"
I am so confused!
"I put surveillance cameras all around this house. You didn't think I'd leave my little girl unattended, did you?"
"I thought that was why you brought Ross"
"No, Ross is for when you go out of the house"
"B-But dad, I love him"
"I know that, I saw you guys showing it many many many times" he says rolling his eyes.
"Then you ditching school, doing those things with Ross, I don't know what is gonna happen next if I let him stay here any longer"
"But--"
"No buts Laura! I've had enough!"
"Maybe you hate love because mom left you but I still have a long way till life is over for me so I want to do things that I want to do! Not what you, or Hilary or what anyone else says!" I talk back.
I'm done with this.
"Bullshit! Laura stop this attitude of yours! Did Ross teach you this?!" he questions me.
"Stop blaming Ross for my mistakes! I'm not the same girl I was before you left for hail! Who knows, maybe it's you to blame for new Laura"
" ENOUGH!" my dad screams at me making me stop talking.
"Stop this Laura! I'm done! I'll be gone for work but Ross better be gone by the time I get home or else I'll deal with him" he threatens and storms out of the house.
Tears threaten to fall out but I couldn't have that happen. Maybe dad will change his mind once he knows that he's just pushing me away. I grab my jacket and my phone walking out of the house. I get in my car and start driving who knows where, I just want to get away from that house as far as I can. Maybe I should've left a note before I left but it's too late for me to go back there.

As I was driving on the freeway, my car started making weird sounds and started to slow down. I check the gas tank and see it's at empty. Oh shit! I pull over and the car finally halts to a stop.
"Come on! Start!" I order the car as I kept turning the keys in the ignition trying to make it start again.
Nothing. I finally give up and hit the steering wheel taking out my frustrations. I get out of the car and walk forward. What? You think I was gonna walk back home? Hell no! I would rather be kidnapped and die rather than going back home to tell Ross to leave and get scolded by dad. No. I was walking and walking having the breeze blow at my face till I felt someone walking behind me. I stop, turn around and see no one. I shrug it off and keep walking until..
"Well hello Laura" I hear from behind me.
That voice.... it sounds so familiar. All of a sudden I get a big blow to the head and felt myself falling to the ground and having my eyes shutting on me. Everything went dark after that.
