Unquestionable love

Chapter 29

Few days since ross and I moved back into my apartment again. We almost have everything back in place, apparently some stupid teens trash the place. We did the best we could but the rest had to go to the professionals. Our pipes were broken, there are holes in the wall and just, ugh I can't even go on, the good thing is, is that they didn't go into ross and I's room so that's good, but everything else is pretty much destroyed. Stupid teens.
I was putting some picture frames they weren't destroyed back on our fixed wall in the living room, the guy still has to do another wall in the living room and the bathroom as well. Suddenly built muscular arms were wrapped around me from behind. I smiled knowing exactly who it was.
"I brought us pizza" ross muttered as his face was buried in the crook of my neck.
I smile. "Thanks baby"
"I'll get the guy in so he can take a break and eat, he has been here all morning" Ross said.
I agreed and sent him off to get the guy while I finish hanging the last few picture frames.
All of sudden I heard shouting from the bathroom. I rushed over there finding ross and Todd (fixing our house) arguing. Todd pushed ross making him stumble. Ross was angry. I had to step in before something worse happens.
"Guys!" I shout trying to grab their attention.
"Guys stop this now!" I shout louder getting in between them. I pushed ross back making him back away from Todd a couple feet. I sharply turn my head to Todd.
"What's going on? And I want the full story" I demand looking back and forth from Todd to Ross.
"I was just doing my job till he started trash talking me!" Todd hollered.
"What?! That so did not happen!" Ross argued.
I sighed. "Maybe it's best if you just go home early and come tomorrow or the day after" I suggest to Todd.
He nods and lastly glare at ross before walking out of the apartment. I then turn to Ross.
"Laura I swear! I didn't do that!" Ross confessed.
I nod. "I know" I say.
"Let's go in the kitchen and eat the pizza" I tell him.
He sighs and nods. I take his hand and lead him into the kitchen. He took a seat as I grab plates.
"I'm sorry" I hear Ross say under his breathe.
I turn and look at him.
"Why are you sorry?" I ask.
"For having that argument with Todd and making him leave" he apologizes.
I sigh and put the plates on the table, walking over to him putting my hands on my hips.
"Stop it" I order him.
He just gives me a confused look.
"What are you--" I stop him.
"Don't say sorry for things that you probably didn't even do. So whatever and let's just eat our pizza" I say sitting on his lap straddling him.
He rest his hands on the lower part of my waist nearly to my butt.
"I'm sorry still. I should've just let it go and let him continue to work instead of fighting with him" he sighs.
I shake my head. "It doesn't even matter anymore" I say.
I get off of him and put each 2 slices of pizza sitting back on Ross's lap.
"Bon apatite" I giggle.
He laughs and just eats his pizza, me doing the same.
I couldn't really help but think of what Todd said to make ross so pissed off.
"Ross"
"Yeah?" He mumbles with some pizza in his mouth.
"What did Todd say to make you so mad?" I question.
He drops his pizza onto his plate and breathes out deeply looking at me. His eyes piercing through my body.
"He said that you were hot and kept on complimenting you in inappropriate ways and it just made my blood boil. I kept telling him to stop but he just pushed it further and then you walked in" he confessed mumbling.
Okay, I'm pretty pissed with Todd for him talking about me like that, especially in front of ross like that but I already paid him rl fix this house so he's gotta do what he's gotta do.
i cup Ross's face with my small hands.
"Don't you worry baby, after he's done fixing the house it'll be just you, and me, no one else but us" I say with a flirty smile on my face. He smiles and mouths:
"I love you"
I smile and kiss his lips in return of his 'I love you'. I love this man so much.
