Third-person POV (Stacy's Perspective):
Stacy was walking to her boyfriend's house after he had called her saying that he wanted to tell her something. She was lost in her own thoughts, wondering what it might be, until she saw a small house coming into view. She picked up her pace and started speedwalking, stopping when she reaches the front door and knocks on it. Soon she heard footsteps and the door opened, revealing an auburn-haired boy.
"Hey Luke!" she exclaimed excitedly, blushing slightly after she sees him.
"Oh! Hey Stacy..." he said, trying to sound excited but failing.
Stacy noticed how gloomy he sounded. "Luke? Are you alright? Is there something bothering you?" She asked, concerned.
"N-not at all! It's just- we need to talk..." Luke said nervously. Stacy nodded, suddenly reminded of why she was standing here in the first place. He looked nervous, and she was too. She has never seen him gloomy. Not even once for as long as she's known him. "This must be extremely serious..." She thought. He then takes her hand and leads her to his bedroom, softly closing the door behind them once they were inside.
"So... What did you want to tell me?" Stacy asked nervously.
"I don't think this relationship is working out..." Luke said, releasing a breath that he didn't even realize he was holding.
"W-what?!" Stacy's heart shattered into a million pieces upon hearing those words, despite half expecting him to say them. "Y-you love someone else..?" She asked, her voice hushed into a soft whisper as she was trying, and succeeding, in stopping the tears from coming.
"I...Yeah..." Luke said, ashamed because he made her feel this way.
"Oh..." Stacy said as her voice cracked. "Well then...I guess I'll just go..." She continued as she walked over to the bedroom door, opened it and turned back to Luke as she stood in the doorway, smiling at him.
Luke's eyes widened in shock when he saw the effect of his words on her. "Stacy I'm so sorry! I-" Luke started, but was cut off by Stacy.
"No no it's alright, I understand! You shouldn't be sorry about anything!" She reassures, her forced smile growing wider as she tries to wipe away a tear without it being noticed. "I'm the one who's sorry."
"Sorry for what?" Luke asked, his shocked expression half turning into a confused one.
"I'm not sorry I'm not what you wanted, but I'm sorry that I could have been..."
Author: I think that is a quote from somewhere, so credit goes to the original owners. Sorry for breaking the fourth wall! I just felt like I had to point it out. Anyway, back to the story!
Those were the last words she said to him before running out of his room, down the hallway and through the front door.

Stacy was now sitting on a park bench, feeling numb. The truth is she desperately wants to cry, but she is one of those people who, when it comes to negative feelings, needs comfort from the people she trusts in order for her to be able to express herself properly. She sighs as she stared off into space, brainstorming the names of possible people.
She couldn't go to her girl friends, since they would just groan in annoyance and tell her that she must just 'suck it up!' She knew they were fake, but she felt like she had no one else to spend time with.
She couldn't go home to her father, since he didn't love her at all, and never cared to listen to her problems. He would just send her to her room to cry by herself.
Her mother wasn't an option either, since she had left them when Stacy was little, and they had lost all contact with each other throughout the years.
Then her eyes widened as she remembered Drew. She felt like he was the only person who truly knew and cared for her. He was her only true friend. Her best friend. Her hands were shaking as she looked through her contacts and pressed his icon and the green call button under it, holding the phone up to her ear as it rang. It wasn't long before he picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Drew..."
"Oh, hey Stacy! How are you?"
"Been better..."
"Did something happen?"
"...Yeah..."
"Do you wanna talk about it? You could come over to my house if you want."
"Yeah sure... I'll see you in a bit... Bye Drew..."
"Bye Stace"
Stacy hangs up the phone and smiles at her reflection in the screen before beginning to make her way to Drew's house.
