GERARD'S POV

I know the road where Ray lives on. So, the walk was easy.

I quickly find Ray's home. Two stories, light blue and a white door.

As I walk onto the porch, my nerves kick in.

What if Ray doesn't want me here? What if only gave me his address to seem nice? What if he's busy?

I know he's awake, the lights are on.

I swallow my nerves and knock on the door. I can hear two voices inside.

Seconds later, Ray opens the door.

"Gerard? Is everything okay? Come in, come in." Ray ushers me inside.

It's cozy.

A dark blue couch sits on the living room with matching chairs. A shelf of comics are on one side and next to the shelf is another shelf full of records. Framed posters hang on the walls. A decent sized TV sits on a dark wood table. Led Zepplin lightly plays on a large record player.

"Nice place Ray." I say as I sit down.

"Thanks, I got it with my roomate. You'll meet him later. Let's talk, okay?" Ray sits down in a chair and faces me.

I nod my head and try to get comfortable.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Ray asks.

"Yeah... I'm fine. Bert just... He kicked me out for the night and I don't have anywhere else to go. I'm sorry if I'm intruding." I apologize.

"Don't be sorry Gee. Trust me, you can come here whenever you want." Ray reasures me.

"Thank you." There's a short pause.

"We don't have any extra rooms, but I can get the couch set up for you, okay?" Ray offers.

"That would be lovely." I say with a small smile.

Ray walks to a door amd rummages through. He pulls out sheets, a blanket, and a pillow.

Ray really is a lifesaver.
