IM SAD. SO VERY SAD.

SO I WROTE THIS.

oh well.

PS THIS CHARACTER ISNT MORTAL. AND SHE ISNT RELATED TO KATIE OR MIRANDA IN ANY WAY.

Elli's POV:

I had a crush.

I'm pretty sure it was obvious, but boys are oblivious.

When I arrived at Camp Half-Blood, things became weird. Apparently, my crush was a son of the Greek god Hephaestus? And he saved the world? And he died and came back to life?

His name is Leo Valdez by the way. And as far as I know, he's single (haha, unfortunately, no).

Sure, he isn't the hottest guy out there (CORRECTION: HE IS THE HOTTEST GUY OUT THERE. i know words are confusing sometimes, elli), but his corny sense of humor made up for it. He was really cute. And scrawny.

"How are you doing, Elli?" my half-sister, Malena (I did say she'd be an Apollo kid in the actual book) asked. I was a daughter of Apollo, and I pretty much sucked at singing and healing. Archery though...

Let's just say that I was unexpectedly good at archery.

"Good, I guess. I'm trying to find out a way to ask someone out," I said. Malena nodded.

"Go to my boyfriend's cabin. Cabin 10," she said, pointing to a pink cabin. I raised an eyebrow.

"Your boyfriend?" I asked.

"Tyler Channing. He's the guy with brown hair and purple-y blue-ish eyes. But you're looking for Drew Tanaka," Malena replied. I nodded and ran over to Cabin 10.

As soon as I stepped in, I was overwhelmed by the smells of different perfumes clashing together. It was like a fragrance shop, but it didn't smell as great. It smelled more...fake.

"Hey," I said, coughing. I saw a brunette who was putting on some makeup frown and roll her eyes at me.

"It doesn't smell that much, loser," she said, putting on some more lipstick.

"Quit it, Lidya," a beautiful Asian girl said, walking towards me. "Drew Tanaka," she said, sticking her hand out at me.

"Elli Gardener," I replied, shaking her hand.

"What are you doing here?" Drew asked.

"I need to ask this guy out, but I don't know how," I replied shyly.

"Right. Do you want to ask him out in an over-the-top way, or in a down-to-earth way?" Drew asked, looking in a bright pink book that was titled 'A Complete Guide to Dating and the Stages Before it. Aphrodite's Version'

"I guess more down to earth," I answered after thinking for a while. Drew nodded.

"Does the guy know you like him?" Drew questioned. I thought about it.

"I think so," I said, finally. Drew nodded again and turned the page of her book.

" 'When asking someone out, you must make sure it's as romantic as possible.' According to Mom, it needs to be romantic. Maybe you should kiss him at the New Years' party. That's coming up in four days," Drew said.

"Good idea! Thanks!" I said, running out of the cabin.

"No problem. See you!" Drew called behind me.
