wow it's been a while

here's the chapter:

The movie was great. I wasn't paying too much attention to it though. The whole time, my mind kept wandering off and ended up on one person.

Jason.

He had seemed so different when I saw him. I looked into his eyes, and it was like he had matured more than I ever would. Like he had seen things I couldn't even DREAM of. But he managed to stay sane. 

His friends-bros-were quite strange. Emo and Green Eyes. And why did they keep talking about Piper McLean??

I didn't even know Jason knew her. Then again, I hadn't seen Jason in a couple of YEARS. A lot can happen in a couple of years. 

When the movie was over, Tristan and Piper McLean got up to say a speech or something. 

Tristan McLean's speech was just about how much fun he had working on the movie, and how much he enjoyed meeting new people blah blah blah...

Piper's speech was also about how much fun she had working on the movie with her dad and how many new friends she made, and how she helped with the costumes blah blah blah...

At the end of Piper's speech, she asked if anyone had any questions.

A boy-I'm pretty sure his name was Devon Bridges- asked if Piper was single. I rolled my eyes when Piper said she wasn't because of how obvious it was. A movie star that beautiful OBVIOUSLY had a boyfriend, heck, maybe even a fiance.

A girl-Lilly Bridges- asked if Piper had ever considered being a fashion designer, to which Piper replied, "Well, no. Just because I'm good at something doesn't mean I want to pursue it as a full time job. Thanks for the suggestion, though!"

The Jason stood up. Piper raised her eyebrow.

"Catch," he said. He threw a small red ball- no wait, that was an apple! Whhhhaaaaaaaatttt????

Piper caught it, confused. Slowly, though, her expression changed to understanding, then shock, then...love?

Ok, WHAT was happening.

"I have the ring too," Jason said, smiling. The whole entire audience was quiet. Then a girl with blond hair and grey eyes said, 

"JASON JUST PROPOSED, OH MY GODS!!!!"

The audience erupted with noise.

I didn't stay. I walked out of the room and sat on the bench that Jason & Co where sitting on earlier. Jason proposed to someone. Someone who he obviously knew quite well. It would be stupid to propose to your crush, or someone you had been dating for like, a week or two. 

I'm not saying I was happy. I really wasn't. But Jason was happy. I guess that made it a bit better. I could tell Piper was a great person, not just on TV, but in real life too. Jason was in good hands. 

Interfering with something that doesn't need interfering is literally just pointless. All that comes from that is ruining something that could've been beautiful. 

So I left them alone. 

There are plenty of fish in the sea, right?

why do i feel like my writing style has changed? 

idk, just feels different.

anyways, have any of yall watched Enola Holmes? I SWEAR IT IS SO GOOD. TEWKSBURY x ENOLA 

someone needs to come up w/a ship name for them.
