Chapter 16

I run,I run through the forest chased by my mother.But is not her,is an uglier version of her. Some how ,she turns in a massive beast,with big green eyes and with thick brown fur.I don't want to find out more....she's too close right now to handle it.

Trees are flying besides me,in my horrible escape from the beast.I pass a lake ,a river and even a big metal structure...Wait !Am I in the arena?Where am I?And why are my hands purple?

That's when I woke up,covered in leaves ,inside the cornucopia.My vision is blurry. I get on my butt and search for my knifes.After looking for them almost everywhere,I found them back in my backpack ,not even thinking that's where I left them.But why am I here?

I step outside in the powerful sun,which blinds me,seeing three boys looking at me like they saw a ghost.They are covered in mud and leaves as well.They all look tired and worried.Am I that ugly?I don't think so...My dad used to tell me I'm pretty..Oh well..

'What happened?'I ask.

'Clove,God you're OK.We though you died.'A blond boy says.

'Cato?Where are the others?'I make a pause.'They didn't make it,didn't they?'

'Yes...It's just us now...you,me ,marvel and ...'he says ,but gets interrupted by me.

'District 3....Name?'I ask rudely.

'Yeah....she's back.'Marvel laughs.

'That's one more reason why you should listen to me.'I smile.'Name.....'

'I-I-I....'He tries to speak.

'Now...'

'It's Volt.'he finally speaks traumatized.Am I that bad?

'You know...when you talk to her,you don't have to pee yourself.She's bad....But not in that way.'Cato winks at me.

'Shut up,talk for yourself.I was the one bad?Than why did you remember it?'

'Well...that's my problem,not yours.'He says.'OK,now that Clove is back from the dead'he says and I punch him 'We are going to do the trap Volt told us.'

'What trap?'I ask.

'We are going to to put our supplies in a big pile ,leaving some out ,in the Cornucopia for emergencies,and we will round them with the mines from the pedestals.'

'Is that possible?'

'Yes...There is always a flaw in the sistem.I found it and I can unarme them and then put them back on.I learnt that in my District.My mentor ,Beetee,told me that.'Volt finally decides to speak.

'Courage,the first step...'Marvel says.

'Let's go!Volt will work with them ,we will move it'he says gesturing to Marvel.

'What about me?'I ask.

'You nearly died.You need to put yourself back on.You will stay...'

'That's not right.You guys,suck!Nothing works without a woman,but if you don't need my help.Go on,fail!'I say

'We will do if you will keep talking.'

'Rude....'

'Talking about rude,Can you go please?'he laughs.

'Your jokes are not funny at all.'I yell and run inside the Cornucopia to take care of the supplies.I don't care if he said not to do anything.I start sorting things up.Containers,weapons...After a while I get a visit..

'We're done.You can come.'Cato...

'Of course,master...'I say

'Hey..don't be like that...I needed to do that so I could scare Volt.He needs to be scared of us,OK?'He says and hugs me.Is he crazy.

'Why do you care so much?You got what you wanted.Why are you so nice?'

'Because I really care about you...After you visited your brother,at the end of the Reaping that year,I visited him.I promised him that I will take care of you no matter what.I didn't thought we will do what we did.Do you want to talk about that?'

'Seriosly..that's sweet.Maybe you are not a killer and no,I don't want to talk about that.'I smile.

'I am a killer....come here.'he says and kiss me.I stop him...

'Maybe we should stop.We are almost at the end and I don't want to make you suffer,not even myself.'I say.

'OK..If this is your decision..I will respect it.Only this time.'He laughs and I kick him

'You never give up?'I ask

'Never..'

'Then you should probably do it faster.'I smile.

He walks away smiling.I can't believe how lame he can be sometimes with all of his pick up lines and stuff.I mean we are supposed to fight and die in here,not to fall in love and have babies.That's what I really hate about him.

'Can you please stop thinking about me and move your butt?It's a fire in the distance ,so that means we have to go.'Cato yells at me.

'I wasn't thinking about you.I mean you wish I were,but your bad.'

'Stop with the Glimmery stuff and move your ass ,Two!'Marvel laughs at us.Maybe he is right.

'We are coming!'Cato says and hugs me getting a little bit to close.'I think Katniss will be there,with the bow and arrows.We'll let Marvel go ...If she can attack,better him than us.'he whispers.

'What about Volt?'

'I will kill him anyway...I used him for the trap.I never thought of that before and I took his offer'he smiles.I have to admit.He has pretty good plans.'

'Ok,but no more changes in the plan and no more plans without me.'

'Deal.'
