Chapter 14

Clove's P.o.v.

I wake up and pack my stuff,go down the tree and start eating the squirell.When I finish up I get up and start walking.I don't know where I'm supposed to go ,but I need to walk away from there because I made a fire and it needs to go off.

In all of this time when I have trained for this I didn't care about the survival part at all...My brother used to be good at that...He was...He was the most amazing brother ever.He died when I was twelve,in the Games.....In the 69th Hunger Games when He was eighteen.He cared about me as my mother and he was the best with the spears.He made me be like this....He always used to say:<Clove you need to train if you want to be good.That boys won't chase you anymore.Remember that!>

He was killed by District 1 's girl.This is a reason why I hate Glimmer...and her personality.Ugh.I hate District 1 because that chick made my brother fell for her.She stabbed him in the sleep...I remember my father didn't talked with me ,because he wasn't over mom and my brother's death wasn't the best for him.Rollo was the best.Rollo Kentwell the boy stabbed in the back living his little sister back home crying her head out.It was hard to get over it ,but I finally did. 

I was walking slowly thinking about my family when I heard somebody screaming my name.Immediately I jump behind a tree and look who it is.Cato.God ,why is he even doing this? I leaved the alliance and he can't even see I don't want to be there with Glimmer.I get my knifes and if he will come any closer I will kill him .Jump out and he sees me.

'Clove ,there you care!Come back.I've been looking for you for hours'He shouts.

'Shut up,shit!She can be anywhere .You scared her!'

'Aww,little shit was hunting alone?How sweet..'

'Hey,I can do that by myself .Not like Glimmer can do that!'

'Look..I'm sorry for that ,but I only did that because I didn't want to loose one of my allies.If we are together we can be more deadly.'He tried to explain.

'And Glimmer is the one who makes the difference?I think we are still the same if she's out ot not.It's the same.She's useless.But you need her so you better hurry up because she's probably looking for you.'I say

'I'm fucking sorry !OK?'

'If you really are why did you did that?Huh?It was a better idea to get her down instead of me.'

'It wasn't!Look Clove .but I attacked you because I care about you..Yeah!I freaking say it ,no!'He laughs.He cares about me?Why?He never liked me...He made fun of me..But we kissed a few times.Oh well..Where is this going on?Star-crossed shit? 

'What did you said?'I ask.

'I care about you....Look My sister was in the Games with your brother...And we know what happened with them....Right?'

I didn't knew that since now.I don't know her name...but my brother wasn't happy because she volunteered.

~FLASHBACK~

I went with my father to see Rollo.We entered the Justice Building and the Peacekeepers showed us the room where he was waiting..I ran in Rollo's arms and hug him with tears in my eyes..

'Promise me you will come home!Please,Rollo..Do that for me'I said.

'Hey..Don't be sad I'm coming back!'

'Congratulations son.'father said and exit the room.I grab him tighter and tighter when I noticed a little worry on his face.

'What happened?'

'The girl who volunteered ..I can't kill her..She's a good friend..'

'Don't worry ..Let somebody else doing it for you ...It will be easier..'I say...for a 12 year old I was pretty smart.my mother used to say I was the genius of the family,because I was good at more stuff.I didn't think that at all..

After that the peacekeepers came and took me away.All I remember is a group of people taking with my father about  something..

~End of flashback~

'I'm sorry..My brother was sorry too when I went to say goodbye...He said they were good friends...'I say.

'They were in the same situation as us...'

'how do you know that?'

'She told me about him before the Reaping.Sorry Clove....'He says.'Can you please come back?One of the reasons they didn't last long was because they didn't made an alliance..Please?'Cato is begging?when that happened?

'OK..'I say and hug him .After all we are from the same district ,our siblings were tributes like us and they died...I hope we will stay longer.

'Come on.By the way..what did you do all this time?You killed District 10?'He asks.

'Yes...I hunt the food made a camp in a tree and tried to find Fire Girl...'

'Where is she?'

'I don't know... I was walking through the woods and hoping I will find her....How did you find me?'

'I went in the way you did...I remember that 'He smiles.I'm happy that we are talking like normal people...not like killers.

'Where are the others?'

'At camp...They were asleep when I left..They were together..Glimmer said you were dead when we heard the cannon...I got angry and Marvel got pissed.He likes Glimmer.And she found out because of me.'

'Evil....I already know about him from training.'I smile.

We arrived at camp and Peeta and Tuna seem to don't have a problem about me being there..But Marvel saw me before I can open my mouth.

'What are you doing in here?'

'She's here because I get her..I need somebody to keep me sane if I want to survive,no?'Cato answers his question.

'You missed your friend ,don't you?'

'Shut up ,Marvel!If you want to survive here you need to keep your mouth shut.It will be easier.'I say.He's annoying..

'What happened in here?Cato?Marvel, why is she here?'Glimmer approach us.

'None of your business.'I say.

'You don't need to be like that ,sweetie?It make you ugly.'

'So that's what are you doing everyday?Besides checking all District 1's boys?'

'Bitch...Cato you better throw her in a tree before she can throw another knife.'Glimmer is such a dumb chick.All she can do is to come in people's business.

'Calm down,both of you! I'm really tired of your things.Glimmer nobody cares about that.And everybody thinks that because they have a reason,and Clove stop being rude to everyone...'LoverBoy decides to speak.

'Lover Boy has courage..good ..'Marvel says.Glimmer turns her back and walk to her back pack.

'I'm not rude to everyone!I'm just being my self!It's not your problem!'

'I don't have any problems with her being rude 'Cato says and kiss me in front of everyone.Peeta,Tuna,Marvel,Glimmer and the entire Panem.I kinda like it...Cato breaks.

'Pack your things we're going to hunt tonight..!'He says smiling.
