"Y/n! Someone's here for you!" I hear Johnny call from upstairs.
"Shit that's right," I remember, quickly checking my room for a last minute clean up and then smoothing down my outfit. Connor was coming over. I had no idea what we were doing, but he's here right now. So I can't really choose.

Quickly, I sprint up the stairs to see a blonde boy with a smile and his backpack slinging over his left shoulder.
"Hi!" He grins, stepping inside and giving me a short side hug.

I half smile and greet him back.
"How are you?" He asks, slipping off his shoes and pausing to look at me.
"Meh," I shrug, "I'm fine I guess. Come on, my rooms downstairs."

The boy follows behind me, still carrying his backpack along.
"You have a really nice house," he slightly chuckles, looking around.
"Oh yeah?" I smile as we approach my door.

I wonder why

"Yeah! This place is really pretty!" He says, reaching into his backpack and pulling out his phone.
"Thanks..." I chuckle. Someone seems to be happy right now.

We make it into my bedroom, where it was mostly clean except for the pillows and blankets that scattered my bed.
"So what do you wanna do?" I sigh, plopping onto my sheets and folding my arms into my legs.

The boy doesn't look up from his phone, rather just carefully sitting next to me and shrugging. Looks like I've got another Jessica. With no idea what to do.
"Do you wanna-"

"Can we take a picture?"

Oh.

"I uh... yeah sure?" I say in a confused tone. Why does he want a picture? Like we're just hanging out...

Connor leans in next to me and puts an arm around my shoulder.
"Just make a cute face or smile," he says as he tilts the phone sideways so we both fit.
"Three, two, one," and then there's a 'click' noise.
Once the picture is taken, he pulls back and looks down at it again.
"Thanks."

He smiles, but not at me.
"Uh yeah no problem..." I sigh, "do you wanna work on homework? Or should we g-"

"Yeah yeah let's do homework," he suggests, tapping a few things on his phone before dropping it in his lap.
Okay so he's acting odd. Something is definitely up. And I'm not quite sure yet but I don't like this.

I reached down and grabbed my backpack, which had been laying on the floor, and pick out my computer and some papers.
"So... why'd you want a picture?" I ask, taking a pencil and writing my name on the top of the papers.

"Oh I just don't have any of us together. Guess I just wanted one?"
He says casually, picking up his phone again and looking at something.

"Holy shit already?" He smiles brightly at the screen. I grin a bit too.

"What is it?" I ask, leaning over to try and see his phone. But the boy turns it off quickly and chuckles as he stuffs it back into his pocket.
"It's nothing..." he shrugs.

"Then why can't I see?" I eye him suspiciously, leaning back.

"I don't know? Just because?" He says in a slightly defensive approach.
Well now I know something's up. Connor's not usually like this.

I drop my pencil into my lap and shut the computer screen.
"Let's do something. I don't wanna work on homework. You wanna go on a walk? Or we could even just play a game on the Xbox?"

My phone buzzes once. I ignore it.

"Let's just chill here. I don't wanna do much," he says, picking up his phone again and getting wider eyes.
"Okay Connor what are you looking at?" I say more seriously now, leaning over again.
