Chapter 22

As I kept running as fast as I could, I tried to look behind me which I shouldn't do since Dacia was already gaining on me. She's a good hunter on hunting her prey which I am but her eyes were more focused on getting Ann away from me. I took a quick turn to the next huge pine tree where I saw the castle.

"Get over the entrance. We can hold her down there." I heard Mom mind-link at me which I didn't think twice and just ran toward the entrance. I was almost there - almost.

I was suddenly pushed down which made me let go of Ann that made her stumble out of nowhere. I groaned as I tried to get up and looked at the person who pushed me down. It wasn't surprising that Dacia already managed to tackle me down. I looked to where I dropped Ann and she's begun to get up though she's in pain. I might have dropped her really bad which I am sorry for but the way she looked at us, she was horrified but more worried over something I don't understand. But the next thing I felt was Dacia began to struggle my throat in such madness. She's not in control and she's too powerful. Is this the power of the Aspire who turned her? Dammit! She really wants to break my neck, good thing Mom and the others catch up with us.

"Let go of my daughter you beast!" Mom shouted in her powerful and angry voice as she tried to charge but a lady that I am not familiar with suddenly appeared in front of Mom and I could sense great power from her.

"Oh my dear Dacia, what have you done without our guidance. Rin-rin will cry again if I let you die in their hands plus she'll break bones into a million pieces again. I don't want to go home to my wife covered in wounds, she'll kill me." Lady began to walk as if she owned this place but she was deadly and Dacia jolted from her presence which made her lose her grip over my neck. As I noticed that from Dacia, I realized it was maybe because that lady was Ceres.

"Pin her down, we don't have much time to spare. The more she went deep, the more she wouldn't be with her mate." Ceres yelled that the knights from the Aspire clan immediately pinned Dacia down.

"Stop! Don't hurt her!" Ann yelled which made us look at her for a second and she was trying to stand up but she couldn't since broke her ankle.Then I noticed my mate came up and she was carried to the scene by other vampire guards.

"Don't worry kiddo. Dacia won't be harmed, she just needs to be restrained for a while." Ceres assured Ann with a genuine smile which I never thought she would have since she really does emit strong power.

"I will heal you." Mageia immediately rushed to Ann and sat beside her to heal her broken ankle.

"Time is ticking. Where's the others?" I heard Ceres ask my Mom who seemed like finally could breathe.

"They are near." She only replied to Cerea then as if on cue, I saw my Mommy come with my mate's Aunt and she's riding on Mommy's back. Kinda cute but nope. I can't laugh over that. She'll kill me if she sees me laughing.

As they finally arrived, Mageia's Aunt immediately came down from Mommy's back and called me.

"Come here, my dear. We need your blood." My mate's Aunt told me that I was totally surprised.

"Why need my blood?" I curiously asked how the hell it was needed to save Dacia.

"For the process. I need the dark blood to stop." When she answered me, both my mothers looked at her as if she grew some horns before looking at me then back to her.

"Are you out of your mind?! My daughter was almost lost there and now you're telling us that she has to go back there?! Not on my watch." Mom definitely lost her control over her anger.

"Domika, only your daughter could stop it." Ceres calmly told my Mom who was glaring at her. Ceres released a deep sigh before looking at Dacia to my mate and Ann then to me. She's a confusing one since she was smirking which I suddenly felt irritated over her.

"I know that it will be dangerous for your daughter to go back there but Domika,she is the only one who could defeat her inner self. Plus, it's the only thing we need and her truemate blood could make Dacia sane again." Ceres calmly pinpointed to my Mom before she pointed in Ann's direction.

Everyone was totally shocked since they couldn't believe that Ann would be Dacia's mate. Ann wasn't looking at us which I took some guts to ask her since I want to know if it's even true.

"Did you know about this, Ann?" I confronted her as I tried my best to cool myself down.

"I only put the pieces together when she suddenly appeared before my room. I was frightened but she was just staring at me and then I fainted." Ann stated her reasons as for me I am trying to control my temper over this sudden revelation. Good thing, Mageia was already hugging which made me calm down.

But then again, a sudden scream of a man that was being thrown away caught our attention.

"Trying to escape from my watch, Dacia." Ceres teasingly told Dacia which made her quiver a little as Ceres took the place of the one who was being thrown.

"Hurry, we need to turn her back or I'll force her to break her bones and you won't like to see that." Ceres grinned like a devil in disguise when she said those last words which irritated me.

"We need to hurry my child." Mageia's aunt hurried as she prepared her pensive and she started casting a spell before turning to me.

"You will fall asleep but we're always here, just think that." She encouraged me then I began to dose off before landing in Mageia's arms.

I hate going back here or talking to her but I had no choice. I was standing at the door as I began to unlock it and I knew it was wrong.

"Here already? That's too soon." She said, grinning at me as she came out.

"Well, I know you will need me." She laughed like a devil which pissed me off.

"You planned it." I gritted my teeth as I tried to hold my anger building on the top of my lungs.

"Yep. All the visits in her dream and making her think that I am her mate and biting her on purpose. Oh yeah, definitely like a plan." She's taunting me.

"What do you want anyway?" I quickly asked what her catch was for doing all of this.

"Hmm, half of you as an exchange." She playfully said as she let her fingers trailed down to my shoulder then to the other side of my back.

"What do you mean?" I shivered from her taunting touch.

"Exchange bodies only. I just want to feel what you feel, oh! I Want revenge on your Mom for sealing me here." She's smirking like a kid who won a candy but then choke me as she mentioned Mom from sealing her before immediately releasing my neck. Why do they want to choke my neck that much?

"That's all you want?" I asked for the last time as I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, since we had both the same mate nothing more so there, you can have my blood now." then she smiled as if it was something easy to give. She totally acts like a kid over this matter.

I shook my head and ignored that then I let her use my body since we both agreed with the terms that I could still see what she was doing with my body. It was some kind of a screen like I could see what she's doing when she opened her eyes and gave her blood to Dacia while my Mom was on her defensive mode.

"Don't worry, not now my Mom." Then she grinned before letting me take control again.

Then Ann turns to give her blood mixing it like some experiment with a cast of prayers in the bowl. As it was done, Ceres immediately held Dacia's head so she could drink the blood that Mageia's Aunt was about to pour over her mouth. Dacia tried to break free from all the grip that was pinning her down until she finally swallowed them. Her eyes began to return back to normal which made them loosen up their hold. Dacia immediately fell asleep, which made Ann slowly go to where she was with Mageia helping her. It was tiring but it's also good, now that everything calms down then I collapse too.
