Chapter 24

Mageia

We arrived at my mate's house, I immediately knocked on the door which was opened by Mrs. McCollin. She greeted us with a smile but her smile has the taint of worry yet, she let us in.

"Ahm, where's Zoi?" I carefully asked but direct to the point while Ann just took a seat on the sofa in their living room.

She did not answer me but pointed to the stairs where Zoi's room was located. I was a little confused but when the door was suddenly swung open, Zoi was standing there but different. Now I sort of understood why her Mommy didn't want to speak anything to me. Zoi was on her vampire side which I am not used to seeing in person.

"Ann, close your mouth." I told Ann as I noticed that she was staring at my mate which I am not sure how to deal with just yet.

Ann immediately turned her head away which I just sigh but the next thing I felt was some arms suddenly wrapped around my waist that totally shocked me. I immediately pulled away from whoever it was but I came face to face a grinning Zoi. Vampire Zoi.

"Wow, feisty. I like that." She was seductively smirking as she pulled my waist again which made me look at Ann and Zoi's Mommy for help but they couldn't do anything. They just ignore me!

"Let go of me." I was trying to control my temper or I might harshly use my magic against my will. I don't want to hurt her but she's so persistent!

"You're not her." I gritted my teeth as I pushed her away from me but I suddenly felt a pang over my chest when I saw hurt written over her face. Dang this girl!

"I'm not but I'm your mate too." Vampire Zoi was broken pissed when she said that to me before suddenly carrying me as if I was her bride toward her room.

But before her hand landed on the doorknob of her room, someone stopped us.

"Not so fast my taboo daughter." Her Mom firmly said while she was holding the wrist of Zoi which made her put me down carefully.

"Wanna spar now?" Vampire Zoi taunted her own mother but her Mom just looked straight at her.

Without any delay, her Mom threw her down to the living area which she didn't anticipate and landed with her face on the ground. She groaned so pissed and they fought like there was no one watching them. Zoi was good in combat but her Mom was a far more great fighter than her. That's why she lost to fight.

"You still lack control." Zoi's Mom pinned her down within just ten seconds which made her growl.

"Alright fine, I lost and you win so, let go of me." She surrendered which her Mom let go of before she looked at me. She was about to go to where I am but Ann bid her goodbye because she needed to go home. She's bailing me.

"What? You're leaving me?" I sounded like a whining kid while pouting which made her giggled.

"Yeah, you know that I will be dead if I go home late." Ann chuckled with her knowing grinning lips. She seriously wants me to face this head on. Dang it!

"Don't worry, I'll take care of her." Zoi replied out of the blue as she wrapped her arms again around my waist while her head stayed on my left shoulder. Ann bowed her head to everyone in the room and left the house.

As Ann left the house, I am not sure why the vampire Zoi suddenly unwrapped her arms around me without waiting for my resistance. I looked confused at her which made her take my hands and squeezing in with a painful smile written over her face. Then she just left me standing like a frozen idiot of knowing nothing of what just happened to her.

"Why I felt that you're sorry..." I whispered to myself as I watched her back and retreat to her room.

"Wanna eat dinner here my dear?" Zoi's Mommy snapped from my deep thought which I just nodded at. She smiled at me before going to the kitchen and start helping the maids.

I turned my focus to deal with what was going on and I have to know from her kissable mouth.

"Can I talk to you?" I asked after I knocked which I heard she unlock her door and let me in. I saw her looking at her picture well, Zoi's pictures.

"I missed everything...but I had it now; being acknowledged for who I was. I'm not that bad, you know. Well, I can't argue that what I did is wrong." She spoke as she put the picture down back on the bedside table.

"Ahm what should I call you? I call her Thanatos..." I started off as I walked toward her bed where she was sitting.

"Anything you want maybe? Or love? Or mine? Or beloved?" She kept going on like an excited kid which I found myself smiling at.

"Ahm...I'm sorry, I treated you that way earlier..." I apologized out of the blue and I hugged. But the next thing I realized that I was already laying on the bed and she's pinning me down. She's on my top which is hot - no!

"You're too easy to read." She maliciously grinned at me which I instantly blushed and lips touched mine. I might have wanted to resist her but I can't.

Her hungry kisses were sending thousands of shivers all over my body which I am not sure why it had the same effect when I'm kissing my Thanatos. They might be two different personalities but they're both making me feel the love thousand more. I pushed her a little to take some breather which she let me. She leaned her forehead against mine which I took the opportunity to look deeply within her eyes. I was right, my Thanatos was still inside.

"Be one and I'm yours as your mine." I whispered which made her eyes widened in surprise as a tear dropped from her cheek which I just smiled before pulling her closer. I missed those lips already. Our kisses were getting even hotter when a sudden knock interrupted us.

"Dinner is ready." Zoi's Mom called which made her immediately sprint downstairs that left me hanging and hot. I might not believe that action of hers but I smiled since she's still here at least.

I walked down stairs like nothing happened and I saw her sitting there not even looking at me. It made me mad but I needed to cool down. We had time cause I can stay here longer now. It's just like home. Everyone is welcome even though I knew I still had family left yet, they let me stay here to where my heart was. I sat down and ate quietly but I can't when Zoi is acting like a kid fooling her Mom and her Mommy almost focuses on cleaning their mess. I just laugh, she is such a baby even her Mom saying stop it she wouldn't. The dinner went on until we finished. I tried to help her Mommy but she wouldn't let me.

"No need to help my dear. I had maids to help go to bathe and sleep." She said and I saw how fast they cleaned the house and even prepared my bath.

I went on it and thought about where my mate might go after dinner. I heard someone knock. Maybe it's my clothes, I went out and saw my clothes that the maid left. I put it on before I went to Zoi's room. I knocked and opened the door but she's not there. Where could she be?
