after I got home I just ignored my and Eren's mom and went straight to my room and went to sleep.

„Hey sweetie" my mom greeted me  „hey mom" I went down the stairs and took a seat to eat some breakfast „could you maybe explain me what happened yesterday" my mom asked me and sat down next to me „mom why didn't you tell me the son you were speaking about was eren" I whined out "I didn't know it was so important" My mom said while giving me a bagel "thanks, it's just that he's in my class and we're just uh how should I say it... we're not the best of friends" I held the bagel in my hand but couldn't care enough to bring it anywhere near my mouth, I sighed to myself "Honey don't worry so much, it'll be fine, eat quickly now before you'll be late, okay?" She smiled at me and gently layed her warm hand on mine. I looked at my bagel again and decided that I shouldn't worry that much anymore, I don't know why it bothers me so much. "Yeah you're right, thanks mom" I gave her a half smile and bit into the bagel.

"Guys omg please can we go to eat something I'm sooo hungry ahhhh I'm dying." "Sasha stop it, take my food here and be quiet at last" annie surprisingly ticked off we all looked at her confused "what I'm just speaking out what you all think "

"ok let's come back to the topic who wants to join the soccer team again?" Jean held a list in his hands and waited impatiently for our answers. Nobody spoke up what caused Jean to roll his eyes and speak again. "We already have sasha, Annie, Ymir, levi, hange, mikasa, eren, Petra, Reiner, Marco, Connie and me "he looked around again but everyone was still silent" come on guys, the upcoming soccer tryouts are a unique chance" he whined out and then looked at my direction.

My eyes widened and then I remembered my conversation with Eren in the café. I'll just take part so I can prove to him that I'm not as bad as he thinks. "Jean I go to the tryouts" I muttered quietly and regretted it immediately afterwards but somehow jean managed to understand what I said.

"Great y/n then I'll write you also down. Guys take you an example of y/n she is willing to at least try and sacrifice her heart for the camps" jean jump up and thumped his fist on the table triumphantly what caused the whole cafeteria looking at him

" Oh gosh ok jean we got it but come off your trip we're not going to war or anything, it's just a soccer tryout so could you maybe finally shut up" and again we all looked at her but this time much more scared i guess Annie is having a really bad day today. Jean sat back in his seat and pouted with his arms folded together.

"Only because y/n is trying, I will try it too"historia looked at me with her angelic eyes I gave her a big grin in response "i Love you historia" i Mouthed her still smiling till I saw Ymir's face right behind her. "Uh matey of course" I panicked but calmed down again when I saw Ymir also calming down. that was close, I need to be more careful or else Ymir will kill me. "I also want to support the class even if I'm not the strongest, it's worth a try for you all" said armin in a gentle and calming tone. I honestly love him he always cares for all of us "Armin you're literally stronger than half of us so shush"

I tried to ignore Eren the whole time because he obviously did the same but I accidentally looked at him once and he had to stare at me right then. I looked away quickly and put my hands inconspicuously on my red cheeks.

"Come on the break is done sadies will murder us if we are late" connie bought me back to reality by tapping me from the side "Yeah you're right I hope he isn't too annoyed today tho"

A few lessons and mental breakdowns of sadies after, school finally finished I wrote to Dirk and let him know that he shouldn't pick me up today. We all arrived at the soccer field and saw a few unfamiliar faces.

I was just talking to Reiner and Marco when we were disturbed by a whistle. "Attention guys I'm just going through the checklist. Armin?, ..., reiner?, ...., sasha ?, y / n? (I'm too lazy to write all their names lol) Anyone missing? Nobody ok, let's start right away. We will have the soccer tryouts today if you do well you will be accepted by the aot soccer team which is perfect for grade 10a because you will soon be participating in the camps. For the people who are here today for the tryouts, please go left and the rest go right. Only 3 people on the left ok it doesn't matter, you on the left will fight against 3 people on the right " the tall blond man with the big brows told us how it will go.

Tbh he's kinda fine tho.
"Hey historia" I nudged her she hummed as an answer "who's that" I pointed at the blonde guy "oh he's Erwin Smith the soccer coach and also freaking hot" historia mumbled quietly so that nobody notice that we're talking

"Team on the left are y/n, historia and armin and compete against team on the right: Marco, Connie and Eren. LET'S GO" before I could even realize, it already started I walked up to the ball and tried to think clearly. I looked to the right in front of me and saw historia free I passed her the ball and she caught it surprisingly well. She then tried to run near the goal with the ball close to her side but connie took the ball from her and ran quickly In the direction of the goal, I looked at armin a little desperate so he ran quickly to connie and Marco. Armin was very fast and therefore clearly in advantage because he got to connie earlier than Marco he shot the ball but unfortunately he missed the ball which is why connie passed the ball to Marco and they had their first goal. Shit. I gave armin a warm smile and held my thumbs up to make him clear that he shouldn't worry and that he plays well.

The game went on for a while, only that my group suddenly played quite well after the first defeat, which amazed the others, even I was amazed that I am not that bad at all.
The ball landed on me at some point, it took me a moment to know what to do next. I was close to the generic goal so I ran straight away and was about to shoot the ball until someone grabbed my shoulder from behind and pushed me forward. I landed on my nose with full force and saw only black for a moment, I heard everything Unclear until I felt something cold flowing down my back. I immediately opened my eyes and noticed that I was wet "hey stop it's cold" I trembled to Jean who finally stopped pouring water on me.

Then suddenly I also felt something dripping down my nose so I wiped my upper lip and saw bloodstains on my fingers. "Ouch" I weird out "can someone call the sanitary , she's bleeding" Marco yelled out and handed me a tissue while "Uh thanks" I smiled tiredly at him. I looked around and noticed that almost everyone was standing around me except eren, he was standing a little further away from me with Armin at his side, it looked like they were arguing. I was about to look away until I saw that he was grinning devilishly at me I got up immediately even though the others were stopping me, I walked straight towards him he still had that stupid grin on his face "apologize to her, you can't just push her like that eren" armin tried to whisper but failed.

So it was him "eren what's your fucking problem" I yelled out with anger pumping trough my veins, I felt new blood run out of my nose "you were in the way. And you threw yourself on the floor, im sure you secretly even enjoy getting all the attention" he said, rolling his eyes "you don't know me, you don't even know how I am" I yelled at him and tried to hold back any tears. "Y / n You're nothing special you're an open book I can read you well I know damn well how girls like you tick" tf is he talking about. I actually wanted to say something but the lump in my throat prevented me and I burst into tears, I tried to hide it somehow but saw how he laughed at me which is why I ran away quickly.
