LOST AND FOUND [ Taejin ]✔

[ I am single ]

Without knowing it was already 7 in the evening,  Taehyung's first day at the workplace was over. He understood a little bit of how his unit works. Most of his work is he has to do sketches for the concept that's given to his team. So it's okay if he takes a little more time to understand how exactly these things work.

But he never imagined how hectic Jin's days could become. So many nights seokjin came home at midnight, and those nights Taehyung used to get grumpy,  he remembers how he whined about him waiting for dinner, and how he wanted to show his art. Now thinking of it he doesn't remember the nights when he was understanding one.

Maybe Seokjin would have gotten tired of that Taehyung. But Taehyung remembers how Seokjin used to get calm first, maybe by a long hot water shower, then he used to join him on the bed with a smile, a  warm smile.

He saw Jin skip his meals today as he had back-to-back meetings. But he made sure to give half an hour in the afternoon for Aru.

Seokjin loves their child, and Taehyung smiles. The love Seokjin never experienced and the love Taehyung lacked to show to his husband.

Jungkook took Aru to a nearby park, as Seokjin didn't want his child to grow up in a building that had nothing but four walls. So Jungkook takes Aru on alternative days to park, which she enjoys the most, which Taehyung didn't know.

He doesn't know what to do. His work is done, he can leave the office, but he doesn't want to. He wants to talk to Seokjin but doesn't know how or what to do or where to start.

" Taehyung??!!! You are still here ??"

Seokjin is the one who first approached him thanks he made things easier for Taehyung, like always.

" Hmm..... I...."

" DO you want to meet Aru before leaving?"

Yes... But not totally, he wants to talk to Seokjin, something, just like others talk to Seokjin, casually. He hates this visible line between them.

" Yes... "

" Oh... I will text Jungkook to bring her back"

" No... I mean, I heard she enjoys parks a lot, so let her be... I will talk to her once she comes back.... "

Seokjin nodded at him, looking at his coffee.

" Seokjin....!! I am so sorry, "

" It's okay Tae, I know you didn't mean to. I know you won't take Aru from me. I am sorry maybe I exaggerated things. It's just, that I...I lost it when you said that. I guess  "

Still, seokjin doesn't believe him, It's not his fault.

" No seokjin, I will never do that. Whatever the situation we will be in.  I will never do that.  And I am sorry and I mean it. It was just out of anger I said those words.... and after all, you are her favorite though"

Taehyung tried his best to clear things from his side...

" No... You are her favorite, all the time she will be calling for you.  Appa, appa... Appa... You know ...Aru our precious baby "

Taehyung felt his heart skip a beat, he looked at Seokjin who was looking at him with wide eyes. It's a slip of the tongue, but hearing     " ours " it's something Taehyung didn't know he needed.

Seokjin cleared his throat and pointed his finger at the coffee room. And excused himself making Taehyung smile. Stupid, he has coffee in his mug already.

Taehyung can't help but remember, how he used to easily make Seokjin fluster.

The day he walked into the kitchen with only a towel wrapped around him, he saw how Seokjin lost his balance and the spatula fell over the floor. His ears were red which made Taehyung get naughty more teasing by adjusting the towel repeatedly,seokjin was so nervous about the towel falling anytime.
