Thomas sat down in the seat near the wooden table. It's surface was rough and looked like a better version than a standard picnic table.
He was surprised, the food wasn't cold and it didn't have any bugs around it. There weren't any animals near by at all.
It consisted of a Full English Breakfast, some extra sausages, a sauce that was somewhat thick, dark orange in color, and somewhat sweet. There was some oatmeal with brown sugar on top, some freshly squeezed, pulp less orange juice, and some warm hash browns.
Thomas was both amazed and confused but decided to eat after his long night.
"How did you do this?" he asked.
"Magic," Nelle said.
"Why did you want to join me?" Thomas asked while sitting on the table.
"Because, there's an entity that's suspected to lead the Wing of Chaos."
"If you're a One then why do you need my help?"
"They have something that's capable of detecting Ones and Gods within a 300 Meter radius."
"So, you need me to sneak in or something?"
"Yeah, but in this state you won't be able to stand up against them"
"Aren't you more powerful than them?"
"The entity is capable of messing with the mind, not all Gods or Ones are immune."
"That doesn't answer my question of you needing me."
Nelle sighed, "Your weapon has a hollow pommel, right?"
Thomas nodded with a confused frown.
"Haven't you ever thought that was weird?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Do you know about the Cryptid's Eyes."
Thomas pondered this for a second, "I think so, they resemble large marbles and have special abilities right?"
"Yep, where did you learn this anyway?"
"My uncle, he also gave me the weapon."
"Anyway, one of them could help with the mind problem."
"Do we need to go look for that one?"
Nelle nodded.
"But why didn't you just say that?" said Thomas.
"I wanted to give you more information."
"I think we should have started with the Cryptid's eye thing then we could have progressed from there."
"Probably."
After Thomas finished his lunch, they continued to talk about which one to get first.
"Which one has the mind ability?" asked Thomas.
"I don't actually know, sorry."
"What do you mean you don't know?!"
"I just know that one of them has a protection ability from the entity's mind altering effect!"
Thomas sighed and put his hands to his face.
"I'm, sorry" Nelle said.
"It's fine, well go look for it," Thomas said, not wanting to make her feel bad, "We should probably get out of these woods first."
