Thomas and Nelle went back to their campsite. The campsite was returned to the original state except for the table with food.
"Can you tell me why I wasn't transported with the rest?" asked Thomas.
"I wanted to talk to you in private," said Nelle, "I want to help you."
"I was just going to protect a gear in Switzerland," he said, "And plus, I don't think it should be too much trouble due to the security and the country it's in."
"It's not that, it's, well, do you know what the Wing of Chaos is?"
"Of course, they were labeled as a terrorist organization weren't they?"
"They are more serious that" she then got nervous. "Ok, here's the thing remember when you asked if I was a grand magician and I said yes?"
"Yeah," he responded paying close attention in case she tried to attack him.
"I um, I lied, I'm," she grew frustrated with herself. "I'm actually a One," she said.
Thomas was confused and didn't believe her, but that would answer how she could use multiple types of magic at once, fix the train, and bring everyone to safety.
"I was planning on telling you when we were at the train wreck but I just couldn't for some reason," she looked as if she just told a secret she's held for a long time. "It feels both relieving and weird saying that out loud."
She either is a One or is just crazy, but even then people don't go around calling themselves Ones or Gods, Thomas thought to himself, I think she's just crazy, and she just blurted that out of nowhere too.
"You're being pretty quiet" said Nelle looking concerned, "You don't believe me do you?"
"Well, you just blurted that out of nowhere," he responded.
She looked down, "Yeah," she looked like she was disappointed in herself. "I could show you my real form but you wouldn't be able to comprehend it, you'd probably go insane."
Thomas decided to play along as she was somehow capable of using 3 types of magic with no effort and didn't want to get on her bad side. "Ok, but why did you just blurt that out."
"I, I don't know"
"Anyway, you were talking about the Wing of Chaos," said Thomas trying to not push her out of her comfort zone.
"Oh yeah, so they are trying to destroy the Gears for their boss."
"But why?"
"They call themselves the Wing of Chaos, do you really need an explanation for that?"
"Maybe."
Nelle sighed, "Why don't be talk over lunch."
Thomas, being hungry, agreed.
