They saw a mechanical construct made of metal seemingly put together without order. There were some cubic like clusters protruding out in various lengths with the most being a few inches out. The being was hunched over with its bulky hands in a position as if they were leaning on the top of a cane. It had several violet lights scattered throughout its body in various sizes with the biggest being half an inch in diameter. The lights didn't seem to be too abundant, mostly far from the closest one with few exceptions. It was covered in a purple cloth over its top with black lines making its head the more prominent feature. Its cloth was also covered by a faintly reddish mostly purple blanket that was crocheted with holes about an inch wide. Its body was pretty much hidden by the cloth barely revealing the glinting metal from the nearby lights.

Its head was a disk like structure similar to a relatively thin ellipsoid. It had a black screen that stretched across the front of its face portraying a thin purple line similar to that of a heart rate monitor, with the line spiking every time it spoke.

"Well, well, what a reunion," it said.

"What do you want," said the man, appearing to summon a dagger.

"I'm just curious as to what you're doing here."

"You're always curious," said the angel, now pointing her sword which was made of light, "It's what caused you to become this."

"So there was an old friend in there, and a possible research advancement, and ally, I'm not as different with my actions as you both."

"Except your actions caused you to commit crimes against both demons and angels," said the man in a now furious tone. He then proceeded to hold the dagger to his side.

"What are you gonna do, stab me?"

He proceeded to get stabbed.

The blade cracked as it made contact with the head.

"I see it still has no effect," the man stated in frustration.

"And I see you both are becoming obsolete, just a fading trend," it said, "You could both be automated, completely replaced by 'plates and bolts' as you said. Everyone could. Even Heaven and Hell."

Both of them gripped their weapon.

"Eternal-"

"It won't work. Like always," it said interrupting the man. "What's wrong? Can't do anything? Afraid you'll just be another cog, forever spinning towards nothingness? Am I hurting your 'Pride'?"

The man attempted to punch the figure before it moved out of the way causing the man to almost fall.

"Horrific Light," said the angel holding out her palm causing an array of light to shine at the entity.

It just stood there.

"You can't hurt me from what I've experienced. I don't have regrets and I don't fear my past. You can't corrupt it. Nor can you turn myself against me."

"Just know, EVERYONE can be replaced."

It disappeared into the forest after it's statement.
