Thomas eventually calmed down and thought of Jackal. He wondered what he was doing in the Slavic Union. He wondered if he was even human. As he was going to the airport he and Nelle saw a sign to a carnival.
"Hey, wanna go to the carnival?"
"Umm, excuse me?" He said to the driver.
"Yes?"
"Could we go to the carnival?"
"Sure." He said as he turned the car.
"Wait no, I, umm."
"Thanks Thomas."
"I just wanted to know if we could go." He said to Nelle.
"Apparently we can."
They arrived at the carnival and the driver went and made a call on a telephone booth. He returned to the car and said that they had to be careful in case anything happened. They both got out of the car and walked towards the carnival. Nelle was excited while Thomas was intrigued. He had never been in a carnival before.
"I wonder if we'll fight anything."
"Why would you think that?"
"We fought that plant."
"I guess you're right."
The driver approached them. "We are only staying for about an an hour or two so don't take too long and be careful."
"Of course." said Thomas as Nelle entered the carnival.
The driver gave Thomas some money to share with Nelle.
Thomas felt odd about going to the carnival instead of the airport. But he decided to have some fun after what he went through.
He felt a dark presence but assumed it was probably nothing.
He caught up to Nelle and gave her half of the money. She took it and went to see a puppet show.
He decided to go to a red and yellow tent but he saw an entity made of shadows with red eyes coming out of a door. It looked around and went to the puppet show Nelle went to.
He thought it was a bad idea but went anyway. He felt guilty. He saw a dark stair case with only one light bulb hanging from a wire. There was a handrail but it looked a bit rusted. Once he reached the floor he saw a hallway with only one door. He walked across the hallway and saw someone in a jester costume have his hands and legs in chains. He was in the middle of a metallic square. The jester noticed him and giggled.
"Hello." He said with a high pitched voice that seemed to have a slight echo.
"Who are you?"
"Jorrah. Set me free and I'll let you see, that this world is broken and how it's foretoken."
"What do you mean foretoken?"
"There are events I'll tell you about, once you break me out."
"You rhyme a lot don't you?"
"It's fun."
He had purple like skin with his left pupil being a glowing pink heart and the right being a yellow clover.
He was wearing a jester's costume that split down the middle into purple and blue. The blue side had white rhombuses and was on the left while the purple side had white squares. His suit was reflective. His pants had no shapes on them. His hat had three points, the right was purple, the left was blue, and the middle was a gradient that had the colors turn into each other. Each point had a small golden jingle bell. His shoes were black and looked like they curled upwards and had a small yellow ball at the end. He had sharp white teeth and two black lines coming from the top and bottom of both eyes. He had a triangular cape that was a metallic gold on the outside and a matte black inside.
Meanwhile Nelle had a new problem.
