-Outside-
"What do you think he meant?" asked the angel.
"I don't know, but he's going to do something."
The man took a few steps into the forest before dissipating the knife.
"I'm going to leave now, I'll see you again," and with that he turned into a shadow that proceeded to fade.
The angel turned back, to the house. She noticed someone appear from behind a tree.
"H-hey Xsala, he came asking for me again didn't he?"
"When are you going to grow a pair and stand up for yourself?"
"He's a ruler of Hell, what do you want me to do?"
Xsala then threw three black arrowheads that seemed to be made of a charcoal like substance towards him. He managed to slice each one in half by waving his arm.
"See," explained Xsala," you just destroyed a somewhat powerful dark attack. You could easily defend yourself against him."
"I don't know."
"Ythrin! You can do more than what you think. Why are you holding yourself back?"
"I, I just don't want to lose my morality," he responded.
"Kind of like you," he whispered.
"What was that?"
"Nothing," he said as he shuffled the end of the sleeves of his dark forest green robe.
"I know you said something, what was it?"
"Nothing!" he said as he flew back a few inches.
"What, did, you, say?" she said as she started to ready herself with her sword.
He started to reach inside his baggy sleeves. His robe was reminiscent to one used by a medieval monk, albeit without the rope and his hood, as well as the ends of his sleeves, being white.
"You heard me," he said as he went back a few inches again. He raised himself a few inches higher anticipating her attacks.
Suddenly, they noticed a room light up inside the manor.
"Crap," said Ythrin as he flew behind a tree.
"Why are you hiding? They're probably just getting up to use the bathroom or something."
They could see a silhouette slowly approach a window. Ythrin went behind a tree further back while Xsala stood there.
"What are you doing!?" whispered Ythrin.
Xsala flew behind a tree last minute before hearing the window open. There was silence for a few seconds before they heard the wooden frame close. Both of them slowly looked back, seeing the light turn off.
Ythrin sighed, "That was close."
Xsala stood looking at the window.
"What were you thinking!?" Ythrin exclaimed in a volume that wouldn't be heard by the residents.
"There were more than one, there had to be."
"What?"
"I felt something, powerful in there. Something, something that could, do great havoc."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know," she said as she looked up.
She launched herself up into the stars, fading gradually. Ythrin went back into the forest. He looked back to the house for a few moments before eventually leaving the area.
