Izuku's POV:
I awoke to the lovely sound of my alarm going off. The time? 4:30 in the morning. You may be wondering: "Izuku, why would you get up that early?" But the answer is simple, so I don't get beaten.
I'd rather have to wait around outside a few extra hours than have my mother beat the sh*t out of me. Granted I'll get beat either way, I'm just delaying it a few hours.
I pull myself out of bed and make my way to the bathroom. I peel off my clothes, careful to not agitate my many cuts and bruises, and step into the shower. The feeling of the hot water hitting my injuries stings, but it's nothing I haven't felt before.
As I'm carefully cleaning my arms I notice something I had momentarily forgotten about. My marks. I hope I didn't wake them up with the stinging. They aren't as used to it as I am.
After about fifteen minutes I had finished cleaning myself and got out of the shower. I dry myself off as carefully as I can then throw on my school uniform. By now it's almost 5 O'Clock.
I make my way to the kitchen and start to cook breakfast. For me it was just some scrambled eggs, but I made my mother pancakes and put them in the fridge. Like most mornings I write a little note to inform her of the breakfast and leave it on the table.
I run to my room and grab my tattered yellow backpack, I know that mom will be up in about fifteen minutes and I don't wanna be here when she is. I slide my worn out red shoes on and make my way out the door.
I have about an hour and forty minutes until first period so I make my way to the library, where I usually spend my early mornings. It's the only place I can work on my school work in peace after all.
By the time I arrive at the library I can feel my soulmates writing, most likely saying good morning to each other. Still I look to see what they said, just in case they actually felt the pain earlier.
In my soulmate's signature red pen was a sweet little message, simply stating "Good morning my amazing mates!" You could just tell this guy— I mean person, I still don't know their gender —was a positive thinker.
There was also a message from Kacchan, and it made me freeze. He didn't say good morning, instead he asked a question. "What was that stinging earlier, and why were you up at 5 am?"
The red pen of my unknown mate replied quickly saying "I just woke up, so I have no clue what your talking about." I'm sure they both know that the pain was from me, and I'm sure my message of 'I'm sorry' makes a bit more sense to them now.
I quickly roll my sleeve back down and go back to my school work, seeing as I still have an hour to kill before I need to make my way to school.
The hour passes far too quickly, and next thing I know I'm walking towards my school. Like most days I arrive right as they unlock the doors to let the students in. I waste no time getting to the classroom, nobody comes looking for me in the morning after I get to the classroom, they just hunt me down after.
After a while the rest of the students, including Kacchan, arrive to class. I look at him and immediately feel a tingling sensation on my wrist, a feeling only omegas could feel.
When an omega sees their soulmate it makes it so their heats are more intense and they only want their mate, the tingling is a warning that it happened and the next heat will be stronger. At this point I'm glad my next heat isn't due for at least a month, because it was bad enough before I got my marks but now that I've got my mark and seen Kacchan it will just get worse.
Class passes slowly, but as soon as it's done I book it to my next class. If I'm lucky the bullies won't be able to catch up and I'll make it to my next class unscathed. As usual though, Lady Luck has other plans.
