Previously: Mei is pure chaos. She enlists a certain black-haired teen to help her test her and Izuku's babies. Izuku's finals are coming up soon. Also, he knows.

Eijirou's POV:

After Mei finally let me go I took out my phone and called Kat.

"Kat I need you to get over to my house now, I know who our mate is!" Before he can say anything I'm hanging up and calling Iwa.

"Iwa! I know who our mate is! He needs help that Kat and I can't get him. I'll tell you more when I get there!"

"Okay Ei, see you soon"

I sprint home and arrive just as Kat gets there. Both of us are out of breath from sprinting such a distance but neither of us care all that much. Iwa ushers us into the living room and gives us both waters. After I catch my breath I start talking.

"So I was over by Dagobah beach when some crazy inventor girl dragged me over to help test her inventions. While I was there another kid showed up to check on her. He seemed very jumpy and was on high alert. But his eyes were what tipped me off. They're green. A green I've stared at for hours. And he has a fire quirk."

"We'll what's his name, if he was over there then the f*ucker probably goes to Aldera with me," Kat buts in.

"That's just it, I know he does. His name's Midoriya Izuku, or as you call him, Deku," I respond.

Kat just stares at the wall with a blank face, but I know that his world is shattering. It's obvious that he loves Inko but if what I found is true then Inko is all a façade she put on.

"I'll tell the detective I know that Midoriya needs help, so the investigation can get started," Iwa says, then she leaves me and Kat here.

"This can't be right. Auntie Inko is one of the nicest people here. She can't be hurting De- Izuku... It can't be Izuku, he's a terrible liar and said he had a different soul-mark- unless," He trails off.

"Unless what Kat?"

"Well, I have been horrible to him for years so if he got me as a soulmate he'd probably reject it out of fear. F*ck..."

"It's not your fault Kat, he didn't reach out to either of us. It's probably his mother's fault that he hasn't. Don't blame yourself,"

"No, you don't understand! I beat the sh*t out of him on the daily for years Eijirou. YEARS! Of course Inko played a part but I'm the main reason why he kept his distance!" Before I could even respond he was out the door.

F*ck, this is not good. As much as I hated the thought of one of my mates hurting the other I know that Kat is definitely hating himself more than I hate that thought. As much as I wish I was I know I'm not gonna be able to help him.

"Iwa, Kat needs your help. Apparently he has hurt our mate in the past and blames himself for Izuku not reaching out,"

"And do you agree with him?" Iwa asks.

"No, of course not! Sure what he did was sh*ty but it's not his fault his mom's abusive tendencies have made him lose his trust in people!"

Iwa nods at my response.

"Alright, I'll talk to him, but first he needs a minute to cool down and collect his thoughts. He just learned that two of his loved ones have been lying to him for years. He needs time to process,"

I want to interject but before I can Iwa gives me a look that says 'listen'.

"If we go after him now then he might not actually process this as well as he could. Just give him a minute then I'll go talk to him. I promise I'll help him but he just needs a minute first,"

Naomasa's POV:

Solving crimes and spending my free time trying to save abused children is something I've come to expect in my life. Finding that the two children I've been looking for are the same is simultaneously a blessing and a curse. A blessing because that's one less abused kid but a curse due to more abuse piling onto one kid.

Both Toshinori and Kirishima had asked me to find the kid not knowing that the other was, granted neither of them knew much to begin with.

Now that I have a full name and description the investigation will be a lot easier though. 'Or not' I think as I pull up the file on the Midoriya family only to find that the one doing the abuse is Midoriya Inko, who is believed to be some sort of angel by the community.

Of course, the best cover for an abuse case is to seem innocent, but most usually slip up a few times here and there, and that gives us something to work with. Inko hasn't. Not even once has she seemed like anything less than perfect. I have a feeling that if she found out I was looking into her it would be worse for the kid.

That means that he won't be safe until I have concrete evidence to present to the court. With her record I can't help but worry that I won't find anything until it's too late. Not something you wanna think about with cases like this.

What's worse is that summer starts soon so he won't be able to escape to school, granted from what I know school wasn't a safe haven either. Aldera was much easier to investigate than Midoriya Inko turned out to be.

Not only was there obvious evidence of both abuse and neglect, but they also had more minor crimes like tax evasion and disability laws that were also broken. That school would be shut down by the end of the school year if I have anything to say about it.
