Hey, this is Avelyn Mahale, and I want to tell you how I was inspired to write this story. Honestly.
~Back Story~
My sister woke me up from sleep and asked if I could do her hair that day. She was going to school and my aunt wasn't around as she was the one who normally did it. Anyway, so I woke up and I started on the first bun, combed through, made sure the knots were out, and brushed it up real nice. And as I was getting to the second bun, my mind started running.
Now my sister has this beautiful hair that no one in the family has (that's why she never combs it herself, she always claims), so I brushed this last bun and tied it neat and puffed it out.
I told her I was done, and she thanked me and left, leaving me to slip back into my sheets and try to sleep. No, keep in mind, I'm that person who can't go back to sleep once awake. I can barely take naps. How am I going to go back to sleep after standing for about 5 minutes? And I couldn't stop thinking about her hair, and from there, this character just started growing in my head and my gosh.
So now, my mind is running faster than a Maserati and there's this girl in the middle of it and I see all these strings attached to her, so many plots and gosh, I knew right there that no matter how much I tried, I was not going to go back to sleep.
So I sighed and sat up, got my phone, and started typing the name of the story and the details, thinking if I just got this down then my brain would sleep, but it didn't.
I was eventually up from that point on, and this book is to blame.
And this is the product. I hope you like it.

This book is free for all your playlist album books. As you have read the backstory, I didn't necessarily come up with the book while listening to a song, but I would request or suggest listening to Isak Danielson or even Zhavia Ward while reading. These two artists kind of set a tone for the book.

The story started in 2020, but I can't necessarily remember the date specifically. And yes, two years have gone by, but it was touch and go with this book. As I said, I couldn't put it off any longer. So I just kicked myself in the butt and here we are.
