I've never been one to seek real-life counterparts for my characters, but as I delve deeper into writing this book, I realize that certain people or images can vividly capture and convey my characters.

Pierce is actually his surname, but the characters in the book call him that instead of his name Alucard. But that tends to change and I think it changes depending on the tone that someone is calling or talking to him. The adults in the book though, call him by his name, Alucard. Him and the main character went to the same college.
