'Chapter 6'

Dria couldn't help her thoughts from drifting towards Alucard Price, a man who stirred a complex mix of emotions within her. His very presence ignited a visceral reaction in her, simultaneously sparking her curiosity and attraction. He possessed the kind of allure that could quicken her heartbeat with a single glance, and despite her attempts to resist, she found herself irresistibly drawn to him. She understood the inherent dangers of becoming entangled with someone like him, yet the magnetic pull between them proved impossible to deny.
When it came to Alucard Price, her heart was a subject of its own. It struggled to reconcile the array of feelings he evoked within her: irritation, fascination, admiration, frustration, and even a hint of anger, though she couldn't quite fathom why. After all, it wasn't every day that Alucard Price ventured into her neighborhood, providing her with the opportunity to play the role of a knight in shining armor, rescuing him from the clutches of Javier and inviting him into her sanctuary at home.
Her somewhat functioning heart held a measure of care for him, even if it might not have been a grand or prominent emotion. A part of her genuinely cared about Alucard Price.
Dria couldn't help but wonder why she cared so much about whether Alucard Price's bruises had healed. It puzzled her why she didn't recoil or distance herself whenever he was nearby. Letting out a soft groan, she departed from the campus and made her way toward the twins' school.
Among all the concerns and matters she could focus on, Alucard Price seemed to occupy an unexpectedly prominent place in her thoughts.
Entering the blue building, she passed a colorful poster and proceeded to the aftercare class. She knocked lightly on the door before entering, offering a smile to the teacher, who didn't return the gesture. Undeterred by the scrutiny of the teacher's eyes that had been fixed on her from the moment she stepped into the room, Dria scanned the area in search of the two individuals she had come to collect.
In a corner, she spotted a boy with black curls engrossed in what appeared to be an astrology book. Ignoring the teacher's gaze, which continued to scrutinize her, she made her way toward the boy.
Dria gently patted his shoulder, prompting him to turn around. She smiled down at him as he inquired, "Time to go?"
She offered a small nod, her eyes scanning his book before he closed it and stuffed it into his bag. She then asked, "Where's Elliam?" Her gaze sought out curly black hair amidst the crowd.
"He's over there with Tobias," he replied, turning to indicate the direction. Elliam stood by the window, accompanied by a redheaded boy. Dria waited for Marcelo to finish gathering his belongings before extending her hand to him. Together, they made their way toward the two boys.
"Come on, Elliam, it's time to go," Dria urged, and Elliam lifted his head. His lips curved into a pout, and he glanced at the boy beside him, explaining, "Just a few more minutes, Dria. Tobias's mommy hasn't arrived yet, and I don't want to leave him alone. He doesn't have any friends."
Dria turned her attention to the little boy, noting his lowered head, hoping it wasn't out of shame. When she shifted her gaze back to Elliam, she observed his wide eyes and the broad grin that adorned his face.
In that moment, she understood that she had lost the battle.
With a resigned sigh, she nodded, prompting Elliam to jump up with excitement and embrace her. After releasing his grip, he settled down beside Tobias, who offered a brief smile before turning his gaze away. Dria couldn't help but smile at the boy's shyness.
