Andora Academy 2: The Fire Guardian's Behalf

Chapter 2

ARTEMIS

I was admiring the moon when I heard some fast movements in the forest. This movements were unusual because no students nor elites are  allowed to roam around at this hour.

Everyone were forbidden eversince the case of missing town people and leaders become alarming. My parents wants everyone to be safe. And even though no intruder were allowed to enter the Academy, sinisigurado parin nila na safe lahat ng mga studyante.

I dropped the bowl and I felt my relfexes become active. I close my eyes at pinakiramdaman ang paligid. And when I felt the movements again, I immediatley jumped, not minding on how high the tower is. I smoothly landed on the ground and I ran as fast as I could towards the strange movements.

Mayayabong ang damo at halaman sa gubat kaya hindi ako nakaligtas sa mga sanga nito. I earned bruises pero binalewala ko iyon. Nagpatuloy ako sa pagtakbo ng may namataan akong kakaibang nilalang.

It was running so fast. Tumatawa ito ng parang timang at halos magliparan lahat ng insekto sa bawat parteng madadaanan nya.

Cold feeling gushed through my system. The strange creature made my heartbeats abnormal. He's wearing nothing and his skin is as white as paper pero meron pang ibang kulay. I cannot determine it since the whole forest is dark at tanging mga mata ko lang ang inaasahan ko para maaninag ang buong kabuuhan nya.

This creature doesn't have a single hair on his body. At nakakapagtaka ang mabilis nyang mga kilos. Even his voice, it sounds like he was being posses by a devil.

His movements become faster so I ran faster too.
"Stop there!"
I shouted but he just laugh. I tried to fire him with water balls and arrows pero hindi man lang sya natamaan!

"Stupid bitch!"

Nanayo lahat ng balahibo ko sa katawan. The urge of killing him grew inside me. My vision suddenly turned black and with this state, I know I'm ready to kill. There's a dark magic in my blood. Nakuha ko ito kay Mom. Actually, kaming lahat na magkakapatid ay may itim na mahikang nananalaytay sa dugo and this might take over our whole being if we looses control on something.

And right now, I am almost loosing my control. Dark smoke formed behind me. Raising my hand, I fire and I hit his back. He groaned but he never stop running so I didn't stop chasing.

I did the teleportation and I appeared on his front. He was surprised, I make use of the moment and immediately punched him on his chest, dahilan ng pagtilapon nya sa kabilang bahagi. His laughter echoed in the forest kaya mas lalo akong nanggigil.

My anger's slowly creeping. I cleanched my fist, ready to attack him again when I heard someone called my name.

"ARTEMIS!"
His voice roared like thunder. It sends shiver through my spine. Napalingon ako sa gawi ng tumawag. From there, Vladimir's frame appeared. Even from afar, I can still see his burning anger. It refects his eyes.

I gulped like I was caught doing a crime. Kumalma ako ng kaunti pero ng marinig ko ulit ang nakakalokong tawa, muling nagdilim ang paningin ko.

The creature ran again, faster this time. I chase him while Vlad chase me too. Nanggigigil ako ng sobra. I continued chasing him until we reached the restricted part of the forest.

This is the part where the portal for the mortal world appears.  Bumukas ang lagusan at mabilis na pumasok doon ang nilalang. I was about to go after him when a strong arms scooped me from behind.

"PUT ME DOWN, VLADIMIR!"

I commanded, but he didn't listened.
He teleported at sa isang iglap lang ay nasa Akademya na kami ulit. I shouted in frustration while throwing him death glares. My vision is still dark and I'm sure dark veins are all over my body right now.
