Chapter 15

While the prof is not here yet, I busied myself with Amy's notes so I'll have some ideas to this course. Hindi ko alam kung ano tung pinasukan ko, at para hindi naman ako magmukhang bobo, magbabasa muna ako.

My eyes are glued to the thick notebook I'm holding while several students went inside the classroom. Looks like classes are about to start.

Ilang sandali pa, kinalabit ako ni Aqua. Pareho kaming may hawak hawak na notebook galing kay Amythyst at parehong binabasa iyon. Nilingon ko sya at pinag taasan ng kilay. Ngumuso sya sa harap, tinuturo ang mga upuan nila Amy.

I furrowed my brows and unconciously settle my eyes in the front. Two men are beside Amy's table  at mukhang may pinag uusapan sila. Maya maya pa, sumilip ang isa sa amin at binawi rin naman kaagad ang tingin.

Well? Baka sila ang tinutukay nyang ibang mga kaibigan.

I shrugged off and continued reading. Not long enough, everyone stood up to greet the newly entered professor. A woman in her mid forties, wearing her teacher uniform entered the room with a friendly face. I stared at her quitely, trying to feel her aura but I suspiciously couldn't.

"Good morning everyone! I can see we have some transferees?"
She immediately noticed us kaya nasa amin kaagad ang atensyon.

Like usual, she made us introduced ourselves in the front. Seeing everyone, I noticed kakaunti lang ang mga lalaki. There are only eight of them.

Si Aqua ang unang nagpakilala and some of the girls giggled. I can't help but smirk dahil mukhang ini enjoy ng gago.

Nung ako naman, I tried so hard to sound enthusiastic as possible because I am deeply determined to change my character here. Through that, I can gain more friends and conduct my investigtion without them suspecting me.

Ngumiti ako matapos magpakilala at lahat sila ay nagpalakpakan. I accidentally glanced at the front row where Amy's guy friends are seated and one of them has violet pupils. It was the darker shade of violet and I know hindi ko iyon guni guni.

Kumunot ang noo ko at mabilis nagbawi ng tingin. What was that?

Palihim ulit akong sumilip, pero hindi ko na ulit nakita ang kulay na 'yon sa mga mata nya.

When he noticed that I was staring at him, he smiled shyly. Hindi pa ako nakakabawi ng hinatak ako ni Aqu pabalik sa mga upuan namin. Mukhang hindi nya napansin yun but I definitely knew what I just saw.

In Encantaria, those who have dark violet pupils has incredible strength and can control the lightning. Galing ba sya ng Encantaria? Pero impossible. According to Amythyst matagal na silang magkakaibigan kaya kung galing syang Encantaria, he would've notice me right away!

Then I remember my Mom's story. She once lived here as a mortal. She didn't know who she was until HM brought her to Encantaria. Hindi kaya...maraming kagaya namin ang nakatira dito?

I snapped from my deep thoughts at nakinig na sa harap. The professor's name is Elizabeth Villaflor at sabi'y adviser namin. She has a friendly facade. She's obviously faking it I can say.

Ang ipinagtataka ko pa, hindi ko maramdaman ang aura nya. There's something in her that I couldn't seem to determine.

What else is this school hiding?

Morning period ended and we're on our way to have our lunch. Kasama parin namin ang grupo nila Amythyst dahil hindi namin alam kung saan pwede kumain. Siguro sa loob lang rin nitong skwelahan since nasa gitna to ng gubat.

"Sa cafeteria kami nagla lunch, Sam. Sumabay nalang kayo sa'min."
Sabi ni Amy.

"By the way, hindi ko pa pala napapakilala yung iba pa naming kaibigan," dagdag nya. Napatingin ako sa ibang kasama namin. Three of them are not our classmates. Isang babae at dalawang lalaki ang nadagdag.
