Neil squeezed my hand as we stood in the chapel.
Apparently Charlie wrote an article and put it in the issue of Welton Honor, about allowing girls into Welton without permission.
Dalton came in with all the other teachers, Neil was shaking so I brought his hand up to kiss it.
"Sit." Dalton said as we did.
"In this week's issue of Welton Honor there appeared a profane and unauthorized article." I looked at Todd.
"Rather than spend my valuable time
ferreting out the guilty persons and let me assure you I will find them. I'm asking any and all students who know anything about this article... to make themselves known here and now." No one said anything."Whoever the guilty persons are this is your only chance to avoid expulsion from this school." After Dalton said that, a phone rang from the back.
"Welton Academy. Hello." It was Charlie.
"Yes he is. just a moment." He stood up.
"Mr Nolan it's for you. It's God! He says we should have girls at Welton."
All the boys laughed but our group.
I walked out of Nolan's office, arms crossed and tears in my eyes.
Nolan called me into his office, and because I'm a girl and a good friend of Charlie, I was to be punished. Cause apparently I gave him the idea that I wanted more girls, which wasn't the case.
So Nolan took me off set design and gave me a caution before letting me leave.
I was almost to my dorm room when someone called my name.
"Allison." It was Neil he made his way over to me.
"What happened?" He asked as he saw my eyes.
"Nolan took me off of set design and gave me a caution... which sucks cause a director at NYU, was supposed to see them but now." I didn't finished as I let out a sob hiding my face in his chest once he pulled me into a hug.
20 minutes later, Charlie came back and started heading to his dorm.
"You kicked out?" Neil asked.
"No." Charlie replied.
"So what happened?" He turned around.
"I'm to turn everybody in apologise to the school and all will be forgiven."
"So what are you gonna do?" Neil asked as Charlie didn't reply.
"Charlie--" Neil took a step.
"Damn it Neil the name is Nuwanda." Charlie smirked.
He shut the door as all the boys laughed, including Neil.
I scoffed before heading to my dorm.
"Allison, where are you going?" Neil asked.
