"We are officially, LEGALLY, allowed to drink." Fallon slurred as she slung her arm around Chris' shoulders.

She had been drinking since 10am, it was currently midnight and she hadn't stopped. Not that he blamed her, it was her 21st birthday, he remembered going crazy on his birthday. He got Fallon to come along of course, but she had a fake.

This time, she had her own ID and people were buying her drinks left, right and centre. Fallon had been so kind to share a few with Chris, but not as many as he would've hoped.

He was no where near as drunk as she was and he didn't intend to get that drunk. He wanted to stay as sober as possible, whilst still having fun and drinking, so that he could get her home safely.

"I'm cutting her off." The bartender shouted over the music as he pointed towards Fallon, who was now dancing on top of a table.

"You and me both, buddy." Chuckled Chris as he watched the girl slowly begin to take off her clothes.

The action earned a few hoots and cheers from some of the men who were now surrounding the table. But Chris couldn't let it get any further than her just lifting up her top slightly. He jumped into action and quickly pulled her off the table, earning a disappointed groan from those surrounding.

"Come on, let's get you home, clumsy." Chris whispered as he lifted the girl over his shoulder.

Fallon allowed a childish smile to form on her face as she slapped Chris' ass, causing him to get out a small groan. He knew that it would be a long night, but it was something that he was prepared for.

The man had managed to catch a cab, so they were able to get back to his apartment. Fallon kept stumbling up the apartment blocks stairs, so Chris decided that it was probably just best to carry her.

"You have really pretty eyes." Fallon whispered as she brushed their noses together.

Chris' breath hitched once he felt her warm breath against his. He desperately just wanted her lips against his, to feel them mould together perfectly once again. But he knew he would be crossing the line.

They hadn't mentioned their previous hookups on the road. So he just put it down to loneliness and that he was the only other person there. Although, when they did sneak into bars, she never flirted with anyone else or left with other people, she just stuck by his side.

"Chrissy?" Fallon's whispered as he unlocked his door, which took more skill and precision than he would have thought.

Chris hummed in response, wondering what she was going to say to him. He used his foot to close the door and instantly made his way to his bedroom and placed her down on the bed.

"I love you." She rested her head on the pillow and was instantly engulfed by his familiar scent. "You're my best friend and I love you."

"I love you too, Fal." Chris whispered, leaning down and pressing his lips against her temple. "Now, get some sleep so I don't have to tell Momma Reyes that you were a mess."

"Christopher." Fallon slapped her hand down on the bed. "You are not listening to me." The girl didn't have any ringers to lift herself up or even open her eyes. "I'm telling you that I'm in love with you."

Chris went to say something back to her, tell her that he was in love with her too, that he couldn't imagine not being in love with her. But instead, he heard her soft snores.

He ran his hand over his face and exited the room. He knew for a fact that she wouldn't remember this in the morning, that it would all be a distant memory. A distant memory for her, but something that he'd have to carry with him.

The only thought running through his head was that what if she didn't mean it, what if it was a drunken thing that she was telling him. That she loved him as a best friend.

Chris shook his head and laid down on his couch, not wanting to be consumed with all his negative thoughts. So instead, he turned on the TV and allowed the noise to drown out his thoughts as he fell asleep.
