"So where to?" Fallon questioned as she quickly glanced over at Chris, who sat in her passenger seat. "Your house?"

Chris chuckled and shook his head in response. He had told them he was getting on a flight back to LA. He wasn't sure how happy his parents would be if he missed his flight.

"No, I told them I was going back to LA." Chris informed the girl, who nodded.

"So the airport then?" Fallon raised her brow questioningly.

She hated that he lived so far away. That they didn't see each other. But the thing she hated the most was, when he was in LA, they didn't talk at all.

"No, I missed my flight by three hours." He laughed, not that he minded. They got to reminisce about their childhood memories with Doris.

"Back to mine it is." Fallon smiled. "It's the least I can do since Nanna and I made you miss your flight."

Chris' eyes flickered over the girl, her fingers tapped a small tune on the steering wheel and her lips were parted ever so slightly as she kept looking at the road. She had her glasses on now, which was a rare sight for Chris to see.

"Just don't make me keep you a secret from Momma Evans, cause we're like that." Fallon uttered as she crossed her fingers.

Chris smiled, he liked that Fallon was close with his mom. He knew that they were both fond of one another.

"Of course." Chris chuckled as they pulled into the girls drive way.

The day seemed to fly by pretty quickly and the pair spent most of their time catching up on their missed years.

Chris had teased the girl about the fact that she had every single one of his movies. She had proceeded to tell him that it was just because she was a proud best friend.

"You can take my bed for the night, I'll sleep on the couch." Fallon smiled towards the man as she handed him a cup of hot coco in a mug with his face on.

"I'm the guest. I'll take the couch." Chris chuckled at the mug but shook his head.

"Christopher, I have fallen asleep more times than you could count on this couch. I'll take the couch. You'll take the bed." She placed her hands on his shoulders.

Chris allowed his eyes to scan the girl up and down. She wore a top that was far to big for her and a pair of white shorts. He furrowed his brows and pointed towards the top asking,

"Hey, isn't that mine?"

Fallon turned bright red and lowered her head so that her hair would fall in front of her face. She could practically hear Chris' smirk.

"It is, isn't it?" He questioned cockily.

"Shut up." She muttered, rolling her eyes. "You take the bed." Fallon jumped down on the couch next to him.

Chris wrapped his arms around the girl and pulled her into his chest as he laid them down. He clicked play on 'The little mermaid', when the pair were growing up it was their favourite disney movie to watch together.

Now, they can't watch it without thinking of one another. Chris knew all the words to the movie, as did Fallon. He smiled softly as he heard her mumble all the words and sing along to the songs.

His hands slowly began to trace patterns on her bicep. Fallon tilted her head back to look at the man. She had missed him. Chris sent her a smile back before placing a soft kiss on her forehead and returning their attention back to the movie.

After they had finished the movie, Chris heard the faint snores coming from Fallon. He grabbed a throw and pulled it over them both before closing his own eyes.

Fallon rolled over and wrapped her arms around the man's torso before burying her head into the crook of his neck.

Chris placed his large hand on the small of her back and pulled her closer. His fingers played with the ends of her hair as he thought back to their childhood.

He had known the girl all of his life. They were raised together. Their grandparents were friends, their parents were friends and they were friends. The Evans and Reyes friendship went way back.

"I missed you, Chrissy." Fallon whispered sleepily. Her warm breath hit his neck, making his breath hitch slightly. He allowed a blush to form on his face and he looked down at her. She was still asleep.

"I missed you too, Clumsy."

He softly chuckled at the nickname. They were nine when he first called it her. She had just fallen over in the school yard and he proceeded to laugh at her and told her that her parents had called her Fallon for a reason. Her name quite literally had the word 'fall' in it, almost as if they expected her to be clumsy and he proceeded to remind her of that every day for the next few years.

Chris placed a gentle kiss on the top of Fallon's head and let out a long sigh. He wasn't going to move her now, he didn't want to wake her up. So instead, they both fell asleep on the couch cuddled together.
