Fallon ran over to Chris, jumping into his back as she held a packet of cigarettes in front of his face.

"Have one with me?" Fallon whispered into his ear. She had found them in Jax's room and taken them without him knowing.

The brunette jumped off Chris' back and stood in front of him. She had to tilt her head back to look up to him. She hated that she stopped growing, she remembered at one point she was taller than him.

She pulled a cigarette out and placed it between her lips, pulling the lighter from her back pocket and lighting the cigarette.

Chris wouldn't deny it, the way she lit the cigarette and exhaled the smoke, he found it incredibly hot.

Fallon offered him the cigarette, which he happily took and brought to his lips. His eyes remained on her the whole time as he inhaled. He coughed a little, making the girl chuckle.

"It's not your first time smoking is it?" Chris questioned almost knowingly.

"No." She laughed. "It's not." She took the cigarette and placed it between her lips again and inhaled.

She stood on her tip toes, her hand wrapping around the back of Chris' neck, causing his breath to hitch. She parted her lips slightly and nodded for him to do the same.

Fallon exhaled, and Chris inhale, the girls eyes never left his. They were so close and with one swift movement, he could have his lips on hers.

But he knew that it would be wrong, especially considering she was dating Drew Rushby. He was a senior, like them.

"Hey." Drew shouted once he saw the pair almost kissing. He pushed Chris back and away from Fallon.

"Drew, stop." Fallon grabbed Drew's bicep and pulled him back. "We were only shotgun smoking." She forced the boy to look at her. "God, he's my best friend. Don't push him like that again."

Drew scoffed, running his hand over his face, his eyes flickered between Fallon and Chris.

Chris has gone to stand beside Fallon protectively. If Drew even attempted to raise his voice at the girl, he would swing for him.

"This guy. He's your best friend?" Drew psychotically laughed. "He fucking loves you, Fallon. Or are you too blind to see that?" He paused a sinister smile forming on his face. "I gave you a chance despite your reputation. I should've known you were sleeping with your best friend as well as Kimberly's father."

"How many time. I'm not sleeping with Mr Pierce." Fallon shouted stepping forward, causing Drew to angrily push her back, making her stumble into Chris.

"Were done." Drew shouted.

Angered, Chris clenched his fist and swung at Drew. His fist colliding with his nose, making an audible crack.

Fallon let out a gasp, her hand flying up to cover her now agape mouth. She'd see Chris in fights before, but this felt different. He seemed angrier.

He had Drew pinned against the grass as he continued to punch him. His knuckles were now covered in blood and Fallon wasn't sure if it was Drew's or his own. She didn't know if the amount of times he had punched Drew caused his knuckles to split.

"Don't you ever." Chris repeatedly punched Drew. "Ever. Lay a fucking finger on her again." He gripped Drew's shirt, picking him up off the floor and pinning him against the outside wall.

"Chris." Fallon placed a gentle hand on his bicep. She watched as Drew could barely even stand up. His face covered in blood and already bruising.

A crowd had formed around them now, drawing the attention of their teachers.

"Chrissy, come on." Fallon tried to pull him away before their teachers arrived but it was too late.

"Christopher Evans. What is going on here?" Mr Andrews snapped angrily.

Chris glanced at his teacher before releasing Drew from his grip, causing him to fall to the floor.

"The principal's office. Now." Mr Andrews ordered as he helped Drew. "You too, Fallon."

"But Sir-"

"I said. NOW." Mr Andrews was livid with the two. He didn't know what happened and he didn't care. Not at that moment.

Fallon linked her hand with Chris' and dragged him off the school premises, no way was he getting done for something that wasn't his fault.

If anything, she should have been blamed for aggravating Drew. But simultaneously, it was Drew's fault for laying his hands on her.

"You didn't have to do that." Fallon said as she dragged him towards her car. "Get inside."

"He shouldn't have pushed you. I warn-"

"Get in the car, Chris." Fallon said but more sternly as she climbed into the drivers seat.

She let out a deep breath and looked over at Chris who sheepishly climbed in. Her hands rested on the steering wheel.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, looking down at his bruising knuckles.

"Are you okay?" She placed her hand on his wrist, causing him to look over at her.

"Can we just head home, Fal? I really don't want to be here right now." Chris whispered vulnerable, Fallon nodded understandingly and started up the engine of the car to drive them home.
