Immediately, I could sense the tension in the room. As soon as I walked in there was a clear cut between my company and Liam's both taking separate sides of the room. I never understood the rivalry, sure I didn't particularly like Liam no matter how much I pretended to but Blaine seemed to get on with him, why not anyone else?

Not that I care really, each to their own I guess.

Sighing, I address the room, "Hello, everyone and welcome to this meeting today, if you are a guest firstly hi, secondly thank you for being here we are pleased to have you make yourself comfortable. As you know we are here to discuss a significant business deal, we need to make rational decisions with no biased choices as if this ides goes wrong it will cause both companies to loose a large sum of money however, if we work as a team we shall greatly succeed. Now, to introduce this concept I pass you to Liam."

Sitting back down, I breathe deciding to just let Liam lead most of this meeting, I can not be bothered and it was his idea anyway. I just agreed to it for the money. I know I should care, its my company, big deal. Yes. But, I trust Blaine he knows more about it than me, I trust my workers to help make the right choice, I'm just here to sign the papers.

Half way through the day as the refreshments are being served, I check my phone to see a message from Bailey: Hi master, I know you are busy so don't feel you must reply but me, George, Nyla and Harley would really appreciate if we would be allowed to leave the building. We promise to be okay, and if anything goes wrong I'll accept any punishment. It is just we are very bored and I think I annoyed everyone here. Nyla and Harley are allowed! Please consider I promise that we'll be good.

He annoyed everyone? Never mind a punishment for things going wrong, I might have to punish him for just that. But I'll deal with it later. For now I cave in and reply with: yes but be good and stay safe or I will not be happy. And be back for 4:00pm absolute latest.

To be honest, the rest of the meeting went by rather smooth; no arguments, not too many disagreements, we get things signed, the plan gets into motion and Bailey text me to tell me they'd got back to the office at 3:42.

Expecting to walk into a room of chattering subs, I was definitely surprised when the tension was worse in the lobby than the actual meeting.

Is this what he meant by he annoyed everyone?

Walking over to him, I gently tap his shoulder and ask "How was your day?" deciding not to mention the obvious, I can't be bothered to deal with it if no one is hurt.

"It was okay, but I missed you! What about you, master?" he replied, forcing a smile onto his face. I could tell this conversation wasn't going anywhere else so I let the silence happen. Usually I would try make the group of unhappy people in front of me feel better, but today I just happened to be able to hear Liam talk to Charlotte and of course I didn't listen to their conversation deliberately they just talk loud and we were quiet. That is all.

"And who said that?" Liam loudly whispered, shocked.

"I told you, Jax's sub." she replies with an eyeroll.

Seriously, she had to tell on him. Either I'm underestimating what 'annoying everyone' means or she is overreacting. And I really hope its the last option cause I can't be bothered punishing him tonight, especially not when George is staying with us.

And no sooner after he says "I'll talk to him about it," is he walking over smirking.

"What?"

"Seems like your sub over here has been misbehaving." He says looking towards Bailey. Judging by Bailey's expression something has definitely happened that he isn't proud of, which makes my heart sink slightly, I thought he knew better than this. "Go on Charlotte, tell him."
